How long did Qianlong live?

Looking through the twenty-five officials in our country, there were more than 230 emperors before and after, many of whom were short-lived and few who were long-lived. Emperor Qianlong was the sixth generation monarch of the Qing Dynasty. He reigned for 60 years and lived to be 89 years old. He was the longest-lived emperor in history. He experienced the four dynasties of Kangxi, Yongzheng, Qianlong and Jiaqing, and enjoyed the family happiness of seven generations under one roof. Why was Emperor Qianlong able to enjoy his advanced age alone? It turns out that he has a secret to keeping healthy. Based on his own personal experience, he summed up the four tips for health preservation: "Treat the lungs, move the muscles and bones, do the ten things you should not do, and take supplements at the right time." Among them, the "ten things" are: knock your teeth often, swallow fluids often, brush your ears often, The nose is often rubbed, the eyes are often turned, the face is often rubbed, the feet are often rubbed, the abdomen is often moved, the limbs are often extended, and the anus is often lifted. The "four don'ts" are: don't talk when eating, don't talk when lying down, don't get drunk when drinking, and don't be obsessed with sex. These "Ten Constants and Four Don'ts" are completely in line with the principles of health care. Don't say anything else, just talk about drinking and sex. Qianlong was revered as the emperor, and he was rich in the world, filled with wine and palaces full of beauties. In this environment, it is really rare to be able to avoid drinking and not being obsessed with sex. Qianlong had been practicing riding and archery since he was a child, and he had shown his talents in several royal archery competitions at the summer resort. After becoming emperor, he even enjoyed riding and shooting. Until he was 80 years old, he still went hunting. Horseback riding and archery are a great way to exercise. Qianlong loved traveling, and the story of "Emperor Qianlong went to the south of the Yangtze River" is almost a household name. In his life, he went to the south of the Yangtze River six times and went to Mount Wutai three times. Many famous mountains, rivers, ancient temples and Buddhist circles have left his footprints. Traveling can not only exercise your body, but also heal your mood. It is a good health measure. Qianlong was fond of reading and good at poetry. It is said that he composed more than 1,300 essays and more than 40,000 poems in his lifetime (naturally, many of them were drafted by his ministers). Qianlong loved calligraphy and was good at handwriting. His characters were round and graceful, and he was very skilled in calligraphy. Everywhere you go, you must be favored by the royal pen. The Ten Scenes of the West Lake were inscribed by him on the stele himself. These hobbies were of great benefit to Qianlong in strengthening his brain, body and soul. Qianlong's daily life and diet were very regular. He gets up at about 6 o'clock, takes a shower and has breakfast. In the morning, I dealt with government affairs and discussed matters with ministers, and in the afternoon I took a rest while sightseeing. After dinner, I read, practice calligraphy, compose essays and poems, and then go to bed. His meals were based on fresh vegetables, with little meat, and he was never full. Qianlong never smoked, but liked to drink tea. He was very particular about drinking water and used spring water from the Western Mountains as his royal water. Qianlong also paid attention to taking supplements at the right time and not randomly. The "Songling Wine" and "Guilingji" used are mainly made from Chinese herbal medicines that nourish the spleen and kidneys, and replenish qi and blood. This is also in line with medical principles. Tonifying the kidneys can nourish the innate, and tonifying the spleen can strengthen the acquired. Kidney qi is strong, the spleen and stomach are healthy, qi and blood are abundant, and the body is naturally strong. Due to Qianlong's method of keeping in good health, he maintained a strong body throughout his life, and he was still conscious and able to move freely when he was nearly 90 years old.
