Liu Jiashang, a famous hard-pen calligrapher in China, is one of the "Top 100 Hard-pen Calligraphers in China in 20 Years" and vice chairman of Sichuan Hard-pen Calligraphers Association. He is not only good at regular script, but also good at calligraphy styles such as running script, Wei script, official script and imitation of Song Dynasty. Its block letters are full of European gods, pursuing exquisite, elegant, steady and powerful charm; His running script is smooth and natural: official and dignified; Its imitation of the Song Dynasty is very technical. He has won the special prize, the first prize, the second prize and the third prize in all kinds of hard book competitions in China for more than 30 times. His works have been published in more than 20 newspapers and periodicals such as Calligraphy, Sichuan Pictorial and Writing. There are columns in China Hard Pen Calligraphy and Youth Calligraphy Newspaper to introduce him and his works. His works have been exhibited in national calligraphy exhibitions for many times, and have been included in China Hard Pen Calligraphers Dictionary and China Best Pen Regular Script.
In 2000, he participated in the compilation of a series of copybooks entitled "Nine-year Compulsory Primary School Chinese Writing" approved by the Textbook Approval Committee of primary and secondary schools in Shaanxi Province and published by Shaanxi People's Education Publishing House.
