Unveiling ceremony of Baihetang Academy
Vice Chairman of Shanghai Federation of Literary and Art Circles, Chairman of Shanghai Calligraphers Association, Vice Chairmen Dai Xiaojing, Ding Shenyang, Xuan Jiaxin, Wang, Chao Yukui, Secretary General of Shanghai Calligraphers Association Pan, Deputy Secretary General of Shanghai Calligraphers Association Zhang Hongwei, Dean of Shanghai Painting and Calligraphy Institute Ding Xikang, Fang, Fan, Lian Liang and other distinguished guests from all walks of life in Shanghai. At the opening ceremony, Yoko read a congratulatory letter from Mr. Shen Wenzhong, full-time vice chairman of Shanghai Federation of Literary and Art Circles, and expressed warm congratulations on the establishment of Baihetang Academy. Chen Qingfeng, a disciple of Baihetang, introduced the preparation and development of Baihetang Academy. Mr. Zhou Zhigao, Chairman of Shanghai Calligraphers Association, delivered a speech on behalf of Shanghai Calligraphers Association, hoping that the establishment of Lily Hall Academy would make more contributions to Shanghai's cultural development. Mr. Wang Weiping, consultant of Shanghai Calligraphers Association and founder and dean of Baihetang Academy, delivered a speech, expressing heartfelt thanks to the leaders of Shanghai Calligraphers Association and all walks of life for their concern and support for Baihetang, expecting Baihetang Academy to make greater contributions to the inheritance of Shanghai-style calligraphy. Subsequently, Mr. Wang Weiping, founder of Lily House, and Mr. Zhou Zhigao, Chairman of Shanghai Book Association unveiled the "Lily House Academy".

Baihetang Academy is named after Mr. Wang Weiping, a famous calligrapher and retired scholar of Shanghai style. The Institute will devote itself to the inheritance and research of China's orthodox calligraphy culture, especially the calligraphy thoughts, styles, ideas and education represented by Wang Weiping. Under the leadership of Mr. Wang Weiping, Baihetang takes Baihetang Academy as the base to carry out calligraphy creation, calligraphy research, calligraphy popularization education, calligraphy exchange and other undertakings, and will regularly edit the academic journal Baihetang to show the achievements of Baihetang Academy to the society and highlight its social responsibility.
