China Calligraphers Association is a subordinate unit of China Federation of Literary Artists, and is the official calligraphy organization in Chinese mainland. Founded in 198 1, it is a national calligraphy art group with independent legal personality, while China Calligraphers Association is another organization, sometimes called China Calligraphers Association, but it is not a formal calligraphy organization in Chinese mainland. Comparatively speaking, China Calligraphers Association is more authentic than China Calligraphers Association.
