In order to fully understand the situation of spiritual civilization construction of social residents, I conducted a survey on the amateur life conditions of residents in our county during the summer vacation of 2007. The main objects of the survey were: My community - Guangming Community students, farmers, enterprise staff, self-employed people and the elderly, etc., investigate their spare time cultural life conditions.

2． Survey process
In order to facilitate the survey and statistical analysis, I used the methods of classmates who have done surveys before to conduct a survey on local residents classified by age and identity, and conducted a simple sampling survey, mainly through interviews.
The specific samples include 13 minors from elementary schools, junior high schools, and high school students; 21 adults, who were classified according to their occupational composition for investigation; and 5 elderly people, all of whom are retirees.
The investigation will then begin on August 4th. Primary school students have a long vacation, and their families are worried about their children's playfulness, so most of them let them participate in some training classes, such as painting and music classes. When I asked several junior high school students, their spare time life seemed to be much richer. Except for making up classes sometimes, they also had plenty of time left, which they used to surf the Internet, play sports, watch TV, etc. High school students almost always use their vacation time to make up for classes at the request of their parents or teachers. When asked about their extracurricular life at the beginning of the school year, they almost all spent it on studying. There was no extracurricular cultural life, and some occasionally listened to music. My cousin is now in the third year of high school. I interviewed him frequently. He complained a little bit and said, "My spare time is either taken up by teachers or parents. Not only are extracurricular books confiscated, but even listening to music is restricted." , let alone watching TV. I used to like playing football the most, but I have almost never touched a ball since I was in my third year of high school. "There are also some college students studying abroad. Most of them choose to go online and seldom go out for activities, but some do. Choosing to travel has become a fashion now.
It is now the leisure season for farming. In the next three days, I conducted a survey among some farming adults in our community. They rarely read books or newspapers and spent a lot of their free time on Use it for leisure activities such as watching TV or playing cards. However, I heard from two or three aunties that they would dance, perform Yangko, and practice Tai Chi in the small square of the Forest Park every morning. During those days when we had the temple fair, they even organized their own Yangko program. The rest of the time is also relatively leisurely.
In the next two days, I conducted a survey on several small traders, that is, self-employed people. They are relatively busy on weekdays. Sometimes the business is quite busy, but they also have a lot of spare time. When asked about their spare time life, everyone answered that they played mahjong and cards. When I went to a small supermarket for an interview that day, they were playing cards with a few friends.
On August 10th, I started to visit one of my calligraphy teachers as planned. That afternoon, I went to the home of Jin Wensheng, the teacher who taught me calligraphy when I was a child, for the first time. It had been several years since I visited. 2 Analysis and evaluation

Although the number of people surveyed is limited, we can see from the data that there are not many amateur cultural places here, and children watch TV in their amateur cultural life. , a large proportion of people go online, which is relatively monotonous. At the same time, children are easily infected with bad ideas through the Internet. It can also be seen from the data proportion that as the grade increases, minors have less spare time and the cultural life becomes more monotonous. The residents have not contributed enough to their spare time, and the facilities and appeals are fundamentally a problem. The elderly have made considerable contributions to the residents' spare time culture, but the content and form of the activities are not innovative enough to attract young people and adults. 3. Solutions to specific problems
Facing the situation that young people’s amateur cultural life is not rich enough, we must let children participate in some social practice, open their horizons, and increase their social experience.
