Ji Chaoshan Meihua translation

The translation of Super Mountain Plum Blossom is as follows:

On Tanabata, I went to Chaoshan with my friends to see plum blossoms. We walked along the stream and through the Woods, enjoying plum blossoms like white silk, spreading among the mountains, making people feel as if they were in a beautiful landscape painting. It was about four miles before we got out of Mui Wo.

In front of me is a gloomy pine tree, arranged in rows, and the sound of a stream can be heard below. Our small sampan has stopped on the water, and along the shallow stream with sand, we are heading for the Chaoshan in the north.

Plum blossoms along the coast have gradually emerged, like a snow-white sea of flowers. As we sailed, we went deep into Meilin, and those plum blossoms covered the ground like white silk, flourishing and dense. The fragrance of plum blossoms permeates the whole mountain forest, making people crazy.

At dawn the next day, we went to the south of Chaoshan and visited plum blossoms. The plum blossoms here are more beautiful than those in Shanbei. All the way along the stream, the old trees are densely covered with branches and leaves, and the path on the shore branches into eight or nine roads, extending to the edge of Meilin. We came to Gan Yuan Pass and visited the water tunnel. The pool in the cave is crystal clear, grotesque stones stand upright on the water surface, and the pool water infiltrates Shi Gen.

Those grotesque stones are cracked and covered with dark green moss. Judging from the texture of the stones, they were originally integrated with the dry caves. This dry cave is close to the Gan Yuan landscape and leans to the right. Climbing more than 30 stone steps, I reached the mouth of the cave. It was dark and deep, and only the sound of Feng Shui was heard.

Chen and Chen Diliao, brothers who came to play together, lit torches and went into the hole, but they didn't reach the bottom of the hole and came back. On the right side of the pool, the rock is engraved with three characters "Haiyun Cave", written by Zhao Bian, a calligrapher in the Song Dynasty. The stone statues of Ding and his son have been mottled and fallen off, and only the poems on the stone tablets are still faintly visible.
