Brief introduction of Song Ji's personality

Taizhou is full of people and celebrities, "the prosperity of Confucianism is the glory of Huainan". Zhang Huaiguan, an ancient calligraphy critic, Hu Yuan, an educator, Shi Naian, the author of Water Margin, Wang Gen, the founder philosopher of Taizhou School, Liu Jingting, a storyteller, Huang Longshi, a representative of Yangzhou Eight Eccentrics, Mei Lanfang, a master of Peking Opera, and Ding Wenjiang, a geologist, are all outstanding representatives of famous sages in Taizhou.

Song Ji studied with his grandfather when he was 8 years old. He has studied in Taixing Normal School, Yancheng Normal University, Nanjing Normal University, Chinese painting major of Academy of Fine Arts (undergraduate) and calligraphy major of Nanjing Art Institute (graduate). He is now a member of China Calligraphers Association, and an associate professor and deputy secretary of Art College of Taizhou University. As a contemporary calligraphy celebrity, Song Ji has absorbed the cultural precipitation and inherited the style of the sages. His works are simple in structure, continuous in brushwork, informal in style and fluent in brushwork, just like those of a master.
