Introduction to Leshan Museum
Leshan Museum is located at the entrance of the Giant Buddha and was designed by South China University of Technology. It is a special-shaped building with the cultural and natural connotations of the Leshan Giant Buddha based on the mountain restoration concept of "born in the mountain and growing up in the mountain" and combined with elements of cliff tombs with Leshan characteristics. The museum was completed in December 2006, covering an area of ??about 18,500 square meters, with a total construction area of ??6,578 square meters; a usable area of ??about 4,000 square meters (including the museum atrium and public exhibition area); it has a design exhibition hall, an academic lecture hall, tourist rest services, Office area, cultural relics warehouse and other functional areas. There are nearly 10,000 cultural relics in the museum, including 1,303 precious cultural relics (sets).

The exhibition of Leshan Giant Buddha Museum is divided into two parts (modern and ancient): cultural relics exhibition and Asian tomb ruins exhibition area, that is, one area and three halls. The first area is the Asian Tomb Site Exhibition Area, and the three museums are the Leshan Giant Buddha Exhibition Hall, the Ceramics and Stone Sculpture Art Museum, and the Calligraphy and Painting Art Museum.

The "Ceramic and Stone Sculpture Art Museum" is named after the three most influential buildings in Leshan's history. It is divided into three sections: Shisheng Nan'an, Foze Jiazhou, and Mingxian Leshan, combined with cultural relics display. "Historical Nan'an" mainly displays cultural relics such as Han pottery and round stone carvings, and mainly reflects the rich and colorful social life of the Han Dynasty through cultural relics; "Buddha Jiazhou" uses high-tech means to display and restore Leshan religious culture and the construction of the Leshan Giant Buddha Scene; "Famous County Leshan" displays exquisite porcelain from the Song, Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties, including a national treasure large lotus blue and white plate from the Yongle period of the Ming Dynasty and a Xinping cup known as the "Fairness Cup".
