Resume of Shen Hansheng

Shen Hansheng, a celebrity in Jiangsu Province, is a senior master of arts and crafts. 1946, a native of Yixing, Jiangsu province, alias Shi Yu and Tao Yuxuan. 1959 joined Yixing Zisha Craft Factory, studied under Fan and Ren Ganting, specializing in stone carving and pottery carving. 1965 engaged in professional creative design. 1985 studied at China Calligraphy and Painting Handa University for three years. 1982 won one first prize and two second prizes from the Ministry of Light Industry of China. 1984, Bai Shou bottle bamboo slips tea set won the Leipzig international gold medal. 1986 works were collected by Hong Kong Tea Ware Museum, Palace Museum and Ziguangge, Zhongnanhai. 1988 Manson eighteen-style bottle won the third prize of Jingdezhen International Expo. Over the past decades, he has created more than 30 sets of works. At present, he is a member of China Arts and Crafts Association, China Industrial Design Association, creative member of Research Center of China Academy of Art, member of Wuxi Fine Arts Calligraphers Association of Jiangsu Province, member of Jiangsu Arts and Crafts Committee, deputy chief craftsman and director of research office of Jinda Ceramics Co., Ltd., and new product evaluation member of China Zisha Museum.
