1. Ye Zhongsan:
Ye Zhongsan was born in the first year of Guangxu and died in 1945. A master of pot painting in the capital, he, Zhou Leyuan and Ma Shaoxuan are regarded as the three major painters of interior snuff bottles. The sources of his works are mainly some picture albums popular in society in the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China.
2. Ding Erzhong:
A famous artist in the late Qing Dynasty, he was proficient in the art of interior painting, and had extensive research on metallurgy, seal cutting, and bamboo carving. He was good at all kinds of landscapes, figures, flowers and birds, Most of them are imitations of paintings from the Song, Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties, with elegant, profound and unique painting styles. 3. Wang Xisan:
Wang Xisan, formerly known as Wang Ruicheng, was born in 1938 in Fucheng, Hebei. Master of Chinese arts and crafts, first-class artist, honorary chairman of Hengshui Municipal Committee of Jiusan Society.
In 1958, he entered the Beijing Institute of Arts and Crafts to study the art of inside-painted snuff bottles. From 1958 to 1966, he studied art at the Beijing Arts and Crafts Institute and then transferred to the Beijing Arts and Crafts Factory to engage in in-house painting creation.
4. Jiang Wenchang:
Jiang Wenchang, born in Hengshui City, Hebei Province in 1971, is a member of the China Arts and Crafts Society and a master of interior painting in Hebei Province. The interior paintings have a wide range of themes and are both artistic and writing. The landscapes, figures, flowers and birds, animals, fish and insects painted are all exquisite.
The works have both profound pen and ink skills and a distinctive flavor of the times, and are praised by connoisseurs and collectors. He has been invited to Singapore, Hong Kong and Taiwan for cultural and artistic exchange activities many times, and has been favored by collectors at home and abroad, and many of his works have been collected. Gradually he became an interior painting artist noticed by collectors at home and abroad.
5. Yiding:
Yiding, whose original name is Nie Lei, also named Ruizhi, also known as Taocheng Jushi, was born in 1974. Since childhood, he has inherited his family education and practiced calligraphy under the guidance of his father, thus laying a solid foundation in traditional calligraphy and painting.
The interior painting was initially instructed by masters such as Wang Xisan, and later he became a disciple of Ye Shuying, the successor of the Ye School in Beijing. His pot calligraphy is another powerful master who rose up after Ma Shaoxuan in the Qing Dynasty in the history of interior painting.
