1. The "Diamond Monument" originated when Ye Jia, the great disciple of Sakyamuni, went to Jinyun Mountain to build a temple, and a mighty King Kong came to help. There was a huge stone missing here, which was commonly called "standing stone" by local people.
The boulder is more than seven meters high and two meters thick. It looks like a monument and goes straight into Jialing River. The word "King Kong" was engraved in the Tang Dynasty, so the locals renamed it "King Kong Monument".
