Dong Songsen is a member of China Calligraphers' Association, a director of the World Outstanding Calligraphers' Association, a special painter of the Calligraphy and Painting Association of the Central State Organs, the vice president of China Landscape Painting Institute, and a member of the expert committee of Beijing Federation of Literary and Art Circles Kyushu Calligraphy and Painting Research Association. His works were selected for the China Modern Painting and Calligraphy Exhibition held by the China History Museum, and won the gold medal in the 5th International Painting and Calligraphy Exhibition held by the China Art Museum.
