Copy paper with smooth or rough surface?

Regular script, official script and seal script should be written with smooth surface, while running script and cursive script should be written with rough copy paper.

Generally, rough paper is made of rough paper and bamboo fiber, and its color is light yellow or white.

Handmade paper with rough edges is usually rough on both sides, while machine-made paper is generally smooth on one side and rough on the other. Smooth ink penetration effect will be far less than the rough side. Rough paper will have more feel when lifting pressure, and the friction between the rough side and the pen is greater, which makes it easier to reflect the pen power.

Generally, rough paper is used for writing with a brush, and smooth paper is used for writing hard-pen calligraphy, which can be smoother when writing, which has a certain relationship with personal habits.

If there is little difference between glossy surface and hard noodles, you can use both sides. There are also some high-grade brushes, such as hot stamping paper, hot stamping paper, tile paper, watermark paper and so on. The side with a picture is the front, so most of them use a smooth surface.

When practicing calligraphy, paper can also be divided into two parts: propaganda and cooked propaganda. The original propaganda paper is very flexible, elastic and wet-dyed, and the fonts written are full and both rigid and flexible.

When I first started to learn calligraphy, I suggested that I should use familiar propaganda. One is that it is not easy to melt ink, and words will not be written into a ball of ink. The other is that you can copy and paste.

When practicing calligraphy, ink seepage often occurs. This is because there are some mistakes in the choice of papers, and it also has the influence of writing level.

Choose different calligraphy paper for different fonts. Regular script font is small, stippling writing is more detailed, writing is difficult and expression is accurate. If you use familiar propaganda, medium and large letters are half-cooked.

Running script is relatively fast. Generally, it is semi-ripe, while seal script is semi-ripe with weak infiltration effect. When it is used, there will be no ink seepage, and it can be used as raw propaganda when the level is getting higher.
