Under the influence of the shift system, the relationship between parents and class teachers is also worth reorganizing.

I am a Chinese teacher. Before I get off work, my parents must position me as a class teacher and a Chinese teacher. Some students in my own class may not have a chance to attend my Chinese class for three years after work. Facing these parents, I inevitably lack self-confidence when communicating with them.

Home visit is an important link in establishing home-school communication. In addition, in order to achieve effective home-school communication under the shift system and pave the way for the second day of junior high school to lead students to discover independently, I insist on making students' performance in school "useful".

Take "works" as the communication medium between home and school, and build a bridge between students and parents with works. For example, from Chinese studies to recitation unit, I will use the class meeting class to lead the whole class to the recording studio to carry out "reader" activities, sort out the video clips of students and send them to parents; Before the mid-term parent-teacher meeting, I will organize students to write "letters from home", seal them and give them to each parent at the parent-teacher meeting; When I meet a good opportunity, I will organize my classmates to write poems or compositions in the class. Last semester, two collections of works were assembled in the class, one was a collection of essays "Facing the Wind" and the other was a collection of poems "Starry Sky", which were distributed to parents at the end of the term. For the student works of various elective courses, I will also let everyone choose the most satisfactory one, go back to class, take photos, and then send it to parents in a book.

Such "works" create a platform for the "day classes" in the class to learn from each other and appreciate each other, and also realize the benign communication between the class and parents, students and parents. In the process of making "works", the class also subtly guides students to realize independent discovery and prepare for the goal of Grade Two.

In fact, the class situation of our class is not ideal, but we won the first prize of the first school sports meeting, the first blackboard newspaper evaluation and the first knowledge display since the students entered school. Compared with other classes in the grade, we completed the integration of class cohesion at the fastest speed. In learning, the excellent rate of the class is outstanding, and the underachievers gradually benefit from the cultivation of autonomy.
