At the north end of Guanruan Village, 2 kilometers northeast of Daduo Town, there is a provincial cultural protection unit - Zheng Xie (alias Kerou, Haoban), the leader of the "Eight Eccentrics of Yangzhou" in the Qing Dynasty Bridge) cemetery (also known as "Banqiao Forest Garden"). During the Yongzheng period of the Qing Dynasty (1723-1735), Zheng Banqiao once set up a museum in Guanruan Village (now Guanruan Village) to teach apprentices. At the same time, Guan Ruan Zheng’s family field is the location of the Zheng family’s ancestral tombs. Therefore, in the 30th year of Qianlong's reign in the Qing Dynasty (1765), Zheng Banqiao died of illness in the "Yonglv Garden" of Zhengjia Garden Lane in Dayanmen City, Xinghua, and was buried here. The original stone sacrificial table, stone incense burner, stone candlestick, etc. in front of the tomb were unfortunately destroyed by the ten-year catastrophe.
In 1986, the Xinghua County Cultural Bureau, Daduo Town Government and Zheng Banqiao Memorial Hall took the lead in carrying out rescue and protection of Zheng Banqiao's tomb. In 1989, the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Culture, the Daduo Town Government, and Guanruan Village restored the cemetery to its original topography and its original appearance. In 1993, in order to cooperate with the grand opening of the first "Zheng Banqiao Art Festival", the Xinghua Municipal Party Committee, the Municipal Government, the Daduo Town Government and the Municipal Culture Bureau renovated and greened the tomb of Zheng Banqiao. In front of Banqiao's tomb, a huge tombstone "Zheng Banqiao's Tomb" inscribed by the famous writer Zhou Erfu was erected. At the same time, the cemetery wall, gate and four pillars and three gates at the head of the village (the middle two pillars are in the shape of semi-suspended hanging flowers) and an antique archway with glazed tiles on the top of the mountain were built. After renovation and greening, the entire cemetery is nestled among green pines and cypresses and a vast sea of ??bamboo.
The "Sanguantang", a Qing Dynasty Buddhist temple building in Nanlouzhuang Village, Daduo Town, is the residence of Master Songchun, the abbot of Tianning Temple in Changzhou and the president of Changzhou Buddhist Association. Although the temple is not big, it is of great significance. The hot land of Daduo has produced Master Songchun, Master Jinghai and other eminent monks, who have made great contributions to the cause of Buddhism in Jiangsu, the country and even the world.
There are two cultural sites in Chenbian Village in the north of the town, which highlight the historical glory of the ancient town of Daduo. In the first year of Hongguang in the Southern Ming Dynasty (1645), the Hongguang regime fell. Wang Guiyi, a famous poet and calligrapher in Xinghua (also known as Xiangshan, the brother-in-law of Wu Di, the prime minister of the Ming Dynasty) abandoned his fame and built a "Tan Garden" in Chenbian to live in seclusion and write books. Li said. Wang Guiyi's two sons, poet and calligrapher and painter Wang Zhongru and Wang Xiru, have lived here for a long time, attracting many domestic scholars, calligraphers and painters to come to the gathering. Wang Guiyi's grandson Wang Guodong, a calligrapher and painter, and Mr. Zheng Banqiao both studied under the famous poet Lu Zhongyuan and were once implicated in the "literary prison". There is a plaque of "Famous Poetry and Painting Masters" hanging on the fourth archway, and among the 12 people listed there is Wang Guodong's name.
