It's on Qingnian Road, Lianhu District, Xi 'an. Zhiyuan is the former residence of General Yang Hucheng's official residence, formerly known as Ziyuan, where Yang Hucheng built his mansion in 1933. In order to commemorate the general's victory in fighting against warlords in Jiaodong and Nanyang, it was named Ziyuan, which means "purple gas came from the east".

It is said that this place was the "Tai Chi Hall" of the imperial court in the Tang Dynasty, where Li Shimin, Emperor Taizong, often summoned officials of civil and military affairs and foreign envoys. During the Ming and Qing Dynasties, there were Wang Yefu and Buddhist Temple respectively.

In 1936, Li Yuanding, the chairman of the Senate of the Kuomintang (a fellow villager of Yang Hucheng), proposed to take the sentence of "stop fighting for military power" in Zuo Zhuan and rename it "stop the garden". His suggestion was in line with Yang Hucheng's wish to stop the civil war and unanimously resist Japan, so he officially renamed it "stop the garden". The plaque "Stop Garden" written by Kou Xia, a calligrapher in Xi 'an, hangs at the door and is still preserved today.

Zhiyuan covers an area of 6 mu, and the main building is a "combination of Chinese and western" building, with a western-style building body, a Chinese roof, carved beams and painted buildings, blue tiles and red columns, flying eaves and animals, which is elegant and beautiful. The fence is inlaid with various patterns and patterns, which have been well preserved so far.

Zhiyuan displays the deeds, photos, ink and relics of General Yang Hucheng before his death, with inscriptions or ink from * * *, * *, Peng Dehuai, Liu Bocheng and others.

Zhiyuan is a national key cultural relic protection unit.
