The origin of "Dahongpao" is a series of publications of "China Famous Artists' Paintings" jointly launched by Tianjin Fine Arts Publishing House, People's Fine Arts Publishing House and Taiwan Province Jinxiu Publishing House in the early 199s, which mainly includes nicknames of several large series of paintings, including China Modern Famous Artists' Paintings, China Modern Famous Artists' Calligraphy, China Modern Famous Artists' Paintings and China Modern Famous Artists' Oil Paintings. Since the first edition in the 199s, it has been launched every few years.
These sets of paintings have the solemn "China Red" gilded envelop as the binding style, grand topic selection scale, strict publishing regulations and exquisite editing and design standards. For a long time, the series of representative works of important artists in modern and contemporary China painting circles have been continuously and systematically launched, which has made contributions to the inheritance, innovation and development of China art and has become a recognized influential book brand.
