Two poems published just before Liu died.

In Cangnan poetry class, Liu published the earliest and the largest number of poems. In addition, two poems, Dream of Returning Home and Selected Poems of Twenty Years of Liu, which were just printed in July this year, are his eight poems since he wrote them.

These two new collections of poems are two of Wen Cong in Tongjiaqiao edited by him. Tongjiaqiao is a bridge near his hometown in Guogang Village, Shuitou, south of Lingxi, which is very common. But for people with hometown complex, it is of great significance. Prior to this, Wu De published a collection of essays entitled "Tongjiaqiao in the Sound of Birds". The bridge has been rebuilt, but I can't remember the exact time. Now the name of the bridge is inscribed by Wu De, because he used to practice calligraphy diligently. His office near Huaqiao New Village is full of rice paper, brushes, inkstones and other items.

As far as I know, this anthology has been planned for a long time. Because I don't work in Cangnan, I seldom meet Wu De in recent years, and I don't know what the specific reason is. I know they finally appeared in the office of Ma Xu, chairman of Yueqing Federation of Literary and Art Circles. Also in July. I went to his office one day, and he said that Wencheng Federation of Literary and Art Circles had just returned from the transition, and Wu De gave him two new poems. I want to read this set of books when I return to Cangnan.

But God didn't give me a chance to ask Wu De for these two poems. After Wu De's accident, Xiao Ji first sent me the electronic versions of these two poems, and then asked Cangnan Federation of Literary and Art Circles for some new two poems by Wu De. I went to get a copy of each book before I saw their faces. The binding of this set of books is very simple, so are two poems by Wu De, in black and white. Now many people say it's unlucky. I think this causal relationship is also based on the accident in Wu De, otherwise it would be obvious and there would be no other signs.

These two collections of poems, one is Wu De's collection of poems for more than twenty years. Because he chose it himself, it also contains some value judgments of his own poems. This collection of poems is divided into six series, namely: branches and leaves swaying in the wind, your chest is my home, on the road, overlooking the platform, the local countryside and the sun wearing sneakers. They are all short lyric poems in different periods, with keen and clever poetic style. In my opinion, his best poems should also be lyric short poems. Wu De wrote many "big man" political lyrics in his early days. At that time, he liked reading Whitman, and he started to go to poetry with these political lyrics. Several times, I told him directly or indirectly that these main melody things were of little value. At that time, he didn't agree, but still responded silently. Now it seems that perhaps because of his different personality and identity, he is not used to expressing his true inner thoughts directly and orally. And if I have any thoughts in my heart, I will shout around. In his opinion, I am probably old, but I have no brains. It is worth noting that every poem in this collection of poems does not indicate the writing time, so it is difficult to see the traces of his poetic style change. Fortunately, he still has six previous poems, and people who want to study his poems still have clues.

Another collection of poems, Dream of Returning, is a "dialogue" with calligrapher Xie Yun based on Wu De's own postscript, but in my opinion, it is more like talking about a "promoted object". On the surface, when Wu De is in a meeting, he often talks for an hour or two, which can be said to be eloquent. In fact, he is a very introverted person in private, and many things are hidden in his heart, which may be related to the early death of his father when he was a teenager. In real life, opening your heart to friends and friends often puts yourself in danger, despite your reputation for openness. I don't know if Wu De's choice is also a kind of self-protection. But people are bound by reality and often need to talk. In ancient Hebrew literature, Jewish poets chose to talk with God or Jesus. Su Dongpo, a great poet in China's classical poetry era, once chose to talk to Tao Yuanming; Modern European and American poets choose to pour out their ideal women. Wu De chose to talk to Xie Yun, an elder who lives in Beijing. In Wu De's poems, Xie Yun obviously played a role similar to "father". Of course, this is Wu De's choice, not Xie Yun's own choice. So this collection of poems can reveal a lot about the mood of Germany and my country in recent years.

For example, "throw a piece of mud"

It's just a piece of mud thrown out, and there is no echo.

Bang, a piece of mud left my hand.

Leaving boiling blood and shouting mouths

How I wish I could hit something.

The mud thrown out is more like spilled water.

Never come back to my hand or my heart.

-Xie Lao I thought of myself from birth to death

Who throws mud when my eyes are closed?

Throw me into this world

I occasionally have the impulse to protest, but I have no confidence and strength.

Although he is usually in high spirits, we can see from this collection of poems that he has been struggling in recent years. Many times, I want to say to him, Lao Liu, learn to give up! And now he has given up everything and done so decisively. It's really not like the way he used to behave.
