Zhang Zhi is good at cursive writing. He changed the ancient cursive method of distinguishing characters and separating strokes, and became a new writing method full of changes. He was very original and had a great influence at that time. He is known as the sage of cursive script, and is also known as the four sages of calligraphy with Zhong You, Wang Xizhi and Wang Xianzhi.
Zhang Xu, a native of Wuxian, Suzhou, was a calligrapher in the Tang Dynasty. Good at cursive writing, like drinking. He is called Zhang Dian by the world, and is also called "Zhang Dian drunk" with Huai Su. Huai Su, whose common name is Qian, is from Lingling, Yongzhou. Cursive script: a style of Chinese characters characterized by simple structure and continuous strokes. Formed in the Han Dynasty, it evolved on the basis of official script for the convenience of writing. Judging from the development of cursive script, the development of cursive script can be divided into three stages: early cursive script, chapter cursive script and this year's cursive script. Early cursive script and official script were parallel, generally called official script, but in fact some forms of seal script were mixed.
The origin of Weeds, also known as "big grass", is characterized by bold and unrestrained brushwork, continuous posture and diverse font changes. Wild grass was formed in the Tang Dynasty, represented by Zhang Xu and Huai Su. At this point, cursive script has become an artistic creation completely divorced from practicality. Zhang Xu's "Four Ancient Poems" and Huai Su's "Self-Narrative Post" are famous representative works of wild grass in the Tang Dynasty.
