However, some people say that it was brought back from China by Japanese envoys sent to the Tang Dynasty during the prosperous period of Kaiyuan. Since it was neither an authentic work nor a copy by a famous artist, people in the Tang Dynasty did not care about it at that time. Unexpectedly, all Wang Xizhi's original works were lost later, and the copies of "Sangluan Tie" preserved in Japan became precious.
