These four sentences come from the category of "transcendence", and the full text is: bandit spirit. Such as white clouds, breeze, return. If it is far away, it is no longer right if it is near. There is little Taoist spirit. It will eventually violate the custom. The trees on the mountain are messy, the moss is bright, the thoughts are read, and the sound is more hopeful. This poem appeared from time to time in Mr Daqian's paintings in his later years. It just fits his increasingly strong mentality of returning to nature and unwilling to associate with laity. To some extent, it also reflects his deep yearning for Taoist thought born in Laozi and Zhuangzi.
These four sentences are Zhang Dagan's favorite words for painting. Zhang Daqian (1899 ~ 1983), 1899 (the 25th year of Guangxu reign in Qing dynasty) and 10 (the first day of the fourth lunar month) were born in Li Anliang, a suburb of Neijiang county, Sichuan province. Formerly known as Zhang Zhengquan, also known as Cheng, Zi, Daqian, alias Daqian Jushi, from Neijiang, Sichuan. Legend has it that before he was born, his mother dreamed that an old man sent an ape into the house at night, so when he was twenty-one, he changed his name, also known as Cheng He. Later, when he became a monk, his dharma number was very large, so the world also called him a "great Buddhist." Zhang Daqian is the most legendary master of Chinese painting in China in the 20th century. He knows everything about painting, calligraphy, seal cutting and poetry. In his early years, he devoted himself to studying ancient calligraphy and painting, especially landscape painting. After living abroad, the style of painting combined with words, heavy color and ink painting, especially splashing ink and setting colors, created a new artistic style. His research methods are worth learning from painters who try to move from tradition to modernity.
