Yu Taichang, a native of Xuzhou, Jiangsu Province, 1953 graduated from the Art Department of Shandong Normal University. First-class artist of Shandong Art Museum, member of China Poetry Society, member of China Calligraphers Association, member of China Artists Association, member of China Couplet Association, member of China Contemporary Literature Research Association, director of China Writers' Century Forum, member of China Mao Zedong Poetry Research Association, member of China Fuxi Culture Research Association, professor of Chinese Calligraphy Training Center, art consultant of Shandong Painting Academy, consultant of Shandong Calligraphers Association and consultant of Shandong Printing Society. Enjoy special government allowance. Calligraphy works/kloc-was selected for the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 6th and 7th national calligraphy and seal cutting exhibitions sponsored by China Calligraphers Association and other calligraphy and seal cutting exhibitions at home and abroad for "1840-2000 China Modern Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition". Landscape painting was selected for the exhibition sponsored by China Artists Association and exhibited in many countries and regions around the world. 1979 Dai Yun, a huge landscape painting with another painter, was exhibited in the Great Hall of the People in Beijing 10 years ago, and some works were collected by Chairman Mao Memorial Hall, Zhongnanhai and China Revolutionary Military Museum.
