Haidian District Gymnasium Collection

Jing, a 98-year-old veteran of the Anti-Japanese War in Zilou Village, anguo city City, Hebei Province, wrote "Hundred Blessings" for the Beijing Olympic Games, which showed the cultural tradition and unique calligraphy art of China for 5,000 years. It was collected by Beijing Haidian Gymnasium, which hosted the Olympic Games, and exhibited in the Olympic venues. It is understood that Jing is 98 years old and deeply influenced by his family. He began to practice calligraphy at the age of seven, and his calligraphy skills and accomplishments became deeper and deeper. During the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression period, Jing Shenjun, aged 19, took part in famous battles such as attacking Taierzhuang and Niangziguan, and made great achievements. Old Jing gave full play to his special skills, and with 100 days of hard work, he personally wrote a "Hundred Blessings Map" to welcome the Olympic Games with a brush. The work consists of 65,438+000 Chinese characters with different styles in China, symbolizing that Chinese sons and daughters and descendants of the Chinese people wish the motherland prosperity and the Olympic Games a complete success. On July 16, 2008, the old man entrusted his son Jing Juncheng and Li, the designer of Baifutu, to rush to Beijing to donate Baifutu to Beijing Haidian Gymnasium. At the donation site, Gao Defu, director of Beijing Haidian Gymnasium, spoke highly of Hundred Pictures, saying: "The works of Hundred Pictures have extraordinary meanings, which not only show the splendid traditional culture of the Chinese nation and the unique charm of calligraphy art, but also express everyone's wishes for the success of the Beijing Olympic Games and the stronger motherland."
