Brief introduction of Jin Kaicheng.

Jin Kaicheng was born in Wuxi, Jiangsu in 1932. From 1951 to 1955, he studied in Chinese Department of Peking University. Since 1955, he has served as a teaching assistant, lecturer, associate professor, professor, doctoral supervisor, deputy director of the school affairs committee, director of the calligraphy art research institute, deputy director of the editorial board of Journal of Peking University, director of the painting and calligraphy research institute of Jiangnan University in Wuxi, and dean of the Central Painting and Calligraphy Institute of Jiu San Society. He has been engaged in the research of China's ancient literature, literary psychology, calligraphy and drama for a long time. He has published works such as Essays on Literary Psychology, Selected Notes on Chuci, Collected Works of Jin Kaicheng, Selected Works of Jin Kaicheng's Painting and Calligraphy, and talked about courses such as "Making the Past Serve the Present" and made outstanding achievements in the fields of Chinese traditional culture, literary psychology, ancient philology and calligraphy art.
