The existing building maintains the style of Qing Dynasty, consisting of a gatehouse, a main hall and a blue cloud room on the left, covering an area of 1.390 square meters. The 13th generation grandson of Li in Houshan crossed Taiwan in the early days, and returned to Taiwan to set up an altar and build a temple in the 20th year of Qing Qianlong (1755), still under the name of "Dunhe Palace". Later, the temples dedicated to Marshal Tan Xuan gradually spread in Taiwan Province, and now there are more than 20 temples.
