How about Qingliang Mountain in Yan'an?

Qingliang Mountain in Yan'an is a national AAA tourist attraction, a classic red tourism scenic spot, and a patriotism education base.

Qingliang Mountain has always been the first scenic spot in Yan'an. The "Yan'an Prefecture Chronicle" written by Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty says: "The famous ancient mountain Qingliang is located in the east of Yan'an City." The mountains are steep and dotted with cultural relics, making it an important tourist attraction in Yan'an. Han Shizhong, a famous general in the Southern Song Dynasty, was born in Suide. At the age of 18, he applied for military registration in Yan'an Prefecture. In his later years, he called himself Qingliang Jushi. He "built Qingliang Mountain, outside Yan'an County." , this is the heart of a gentleman" ("Yansui Town Chronicles" of the Qing Dynasty). Its cultural relics can be divided into two parts: one is historical cultural relics mainly including the Ten Thousand Buddha Cave and other grottoes, and the other is revolutionary cultural relics mainly including the former sites of press and publishing units in the Yan'an period.

Qingliang Mountain is named after Buddhist teachings, which means to be freed from the secular reincarnation and reach the ideal state of cool nirvana. There are eighteen caves, twenty-four sceneries, and more than forty cliff carvings in Qingliang Mountain, which is known as the "Golden Fairy Land" in the world.

Qingliangshan Archway: Located at the entrance of the mountain, beside Yanhui Canal, it was rebuilt in 1984. It is a three-door building, carved from blue-gray stone, with a plaque inscribed by Shu Tong on the front that reads "Ten Thousand Buddhas Temple"; a couplet is engraved on both sides: "Two waters surround the seat and look at the smoke beside Jialing Pagoda in the morning, and eight views surround the mountain at night. The moon rises above the Phoenix Tower"; the banner on the back reads "Coolness First".

For details of the Ten Thousand Buddhas Cave and other grottoes, see "Four Major Grottoes".

Like clouds: one of the wonders of Qingliang Mountain, located above the iron flagpole and mountain gate of Qingliang Mountain. The huge rock hangs like wings, with four powerful characters "like clouds" engraved on it. The stone cliff is concave, and due to years of wind and water erosion, it has formed rock patterns like rolling waves. Whenever the sun sets and oblique light comes in, smoke-like ripples appear on the stone. Coupled with the reflection of the waves of the Yan River, it seems like clouds are floating in the sky. Want to fly.

Shiwan: Located above Maitreya Cave. "Yan'an Prefecture Chronicles" says: "Qingliang Mountain, many people have inscribed stone inscriptions, which are uneven and upright, and people here call it Shiwan." Zhang Wei, the prefect of Yan'an in the Qing Dynasty, chanted: "The high pavilions lean on the stars, and the poem walls have inscriptions for the new era. There are more than 50 cliff inscriptions from past dynasties, among which more than ten can still be identified before the Ming and Qing Dynasties. The inscriptions of famous modern Chinese figures and Japanese friends, in real grass and seal script, are all over the cliffs.

Water Shines on Yan'an: One of the wonders of Qingliang Mountain. There is a flat stone platform more than ten feet long next to Shiwan, with a crescent-shaped stone bowl carved in the middle. Water is stored in the bowl. If you look squinting from the right corner, you can see Phoenix Mountain. The ancient city wall of Yan'an is reflected in the water. Next to the bowl stands a small stone plaque with two dragons playing with beads, on which the four characters "Shui Zhao Yan'an" are engraved upside down. If you look down at the water, the four characters are clear and straight, full of fun.

Yueerjing and Yinyue Pavilion: one of the wonders of Qingliang Mountain. The official annals of the early Qing Dynasty recorded one of the "eight cool sceneries", "Cold Spring Rising Moon": "There is a hanging building on the edge of the cliff, and there is a Jiufeng Spring under the cliff. Mountain people and Taoist priests draw water with long ropes, and the buckets stir the water, and the moon is reflected in the spring. "In front of Shiwan, there is a pavilion in the sky. There is a circular hole in the center of the pavilion. More than 10 meters below it is an ancient hexagonal well, namely Jiufeng Spring. The water is more than ten feet deep and crystal clear. A poem from the Ming Dynasty said: "The Pavilion of Ten Thousand Buddhas comes out from the sky, and the Jiufengquan comes from the root of the stone. The lower part is always blocked by clouds, and no trace of human life is allowed." There are ancient stone carvings of "Fengquan" and "Yongyue" above the well. Looking down from the pavilion, the moon gushes out from the well, and the clouds and moon are always there, especially on nights when the moon and stars are scarce. The two months of Tianshui and Tianshui complement each other, and the scene is wonderful and amazing. Therefore, the spring is called "Yue'er Well", and the pavilion is called "Yinyue Pavilion". The combination of beads is perfect, and it is natural and interesting. ’

Fan Gong Temple: To the east of Qingliang Mountain, it was rebuilt in 1985. There is a clay sculpture of Fan Zhongyan in the temple, wearing armor, holding a sword, and wearing a helmet and hat, with a heroic look. Di Qing and Zhong Shiheng stood on both sides. The temple is a three-bay main hall. The plaque on the door reads "The No. 1 figure in the Song Dynasty" and the couplet on the pillars reads "Be worried about the world's worries first, and be happy after the world's happiness". Fan Zhongyan served as the deputy envoy of Shaanxi economic strategy and pacification during the Kangding reign of Emperor Renzong of the Song Dynasty. He also knew Yanzhou and was stationed in Yanzhou to fight against Xixia. Di Qing, a famous general in the Song Dynasty, once knew Yanzhou as the military envoy of Changhua Army, and Zhong Shiheng, a famous border guard general in the Song Dynasty, once served as a judge in Lizhou. Both of them made repeated military exploits and were powerful in the border areas.

Wonder of the world: Located above Fan Gong Temple, it is a classical temple with nine ridges and ten beasts rising out of the mountains. From here, you can have an unobstructed view of Yan'an's mountains and rivers.

There are two couplets in the palace: "After reading all the strange things in the world, you will know that the road in the world is not smooth"; "Looking at the heroes of ancient and modern times passing by two rivers and one city, you can see the good and evil of the past in the three rivers and two mountains from a distance." The plaque on the gate of the palace reads: "Wonder of the World".

Pang Gong Temple: a newly built antique building in memory of Pang Ji. Pang Ji was a famous official in the Song Dynasty. During the reign of Emperor Renzong of the Song Dynasty, he used Yan Jinglue to appease and recruit envoys and also knew Yanzhou. His literary and martial arts skills were outstanding in the history.

Dingchi Spring: At the foot of Qingliang Shanxi, there is a clear and sweet spring, which gushes out from a stone gap about two meters high and accumulates into a stone pool. It is one of the best springs in Yan'an City. It is said that when King Shibi came to Qingliang Mountain to practice, he cut meat to feed hungry eagles to save pigeons. He went down the mountain to get river water to wash the wound, but it did not heal for a long time. Later generations called this "Holy Water", and the river was renamed Zhuojin Water, which is now Yanhe River. Some people say that the name of the town is Fushi, so this story is derived from it, which is an attached theory; Fushi was originally the name of an ancient town in the pre-Qin Dynasty.

The Glazed Pagoda: Above the Immortal Cave in the northwest of Qingliang Mountain, it is the only remaining Glazed Pagoda in Shaanxi Province and a provincial key cultural relics protection unit. It was originally located in Tangjiaping Village, Ganguyi Town, Baota District, and was moved here in 1985. . The pagoda was built in the second year of Chongzhen in the Ming Dynasty. It is an octagonal seven-level tower with a height of 6.3 meters. The pagoda surface is surrounded by rectangular colored glaze components with basically the same size, shape and glaze color. There are 8 pieces on each floor, with a total of 56 pieces. The glaze surface is uniform. There are stenciled patterns, and the layers are different. The statues are vivid and lifelike. They are mainly Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, Feitian, Hercules, dragons, phoenixes, unicorns, etc. in Buddhism. They are exquisite in craftsmanship and extremely precious.

Taihe Temple: Built on Taihe Mountain at the top of Qingliang Mountain, it was rebuilt in the mid-1980s. It includes a group of antique buildings such as Zhenwu Patriarch Hall, Zhuangyuan Bridge, Yaowang Temple, Caishen Temple, Empress Temple, Holy Mother Hall, and Santianmen. With its carved beams and painted edifices, it is a magnificent place for religious activities in northern Shaanxi, second only to Baiyun Mountain, and is also a tourist attraction in Yan'an City. There is a temple fair held on April 8 every year, and cultural and commercial activities are very prosperous.

Qingliang Mountain also has legends such as "A dragon meets an immortal in Peach Blossom Cave", "Zhao Chang becomes an immortal in Huancui Cave", "Zhao Lianfu woodcutter read his filial mother", "Immortal Stone Flying Down Qingliang Mountain" and "Pipa Bridge". "Sazhu Slope", "Yanshou Palace", "Golden Cliff" and other landscapes.

Qingliang Mountain is also the birthplace of news broadcasting and publishing in New China. It used to be the location of the Xinhua News Agency of the Communist Party of China, Yan'an Xinhua Radio Station, Liberation Daily, Border Region Mass Daily, Central Publishing and Distribution Department, Central Printing Factory, and Xinhua Bookstore. Li Mu'an once wrote a poem for "Liberation Daily": "The wind is cool in the evening on Qingliang Mountain, and the water below Qingliang Mountain is rippled. In the middle of the night, the stars shine together, and the light shines brightly in the sky."

The former site of "Liberation Daily": " Jiefang Daily, formerly known as "New China News", is the organ of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China. Mao Zedong inscribed the masthead for it and wrote the "Publication Speech" himself. There is an arched stone gate at the foot of the mountain east of Qingliang Mountain, with the four characters "Liberation Daily" inscribed on the forehead in Mao Zedong's handwriting. There are two rows of stone kilns and more than 10 earthen cave dwellings on the eastern slope of Qingliang Mountain. They were rebuilt as they were in 1964.

The former site of the Central Printing Factory: located in Wanfo Cave, it was the most important printing factory in Yan'an at that time. It mainly prints newspapers and magazines such as "New China News", "Liberation Daily", "The Communist Party", various government documents, political literature and art readings, etc. The best handed down works of modern Chinese literature, "Li Youcai's Banhua", "Wang Gui and Li Xiangxiang", "Lotus Lake", etc. were all printed for the first time. Xie Juezai praised: "Although the Malan paper is thick, the Marxist-Leninist chapter can be printed in the Qingliang Ten Thousand Buddhas Cave, and the printing is very safe." Chengzhi successively served as president. In 2001, the 18-hole cave dwelling at the old site was renovated and opened, and Bogu's old residence was restored.

The former site of Xinhua Radio: the first People’s Broadcasting Station founded by the Communist Party of China and the predecessor of the Central People’s Broadcasting Station. It is the same as the former site of Jiefang Daily and Xinhua News Agency.

Yan'an News Memorial Hall: In 1986, the "Yan'an Qingliangshan Press and Publication Revolution Memorial Hall" was built. The total construction area of ??the exhibition hall is 3,000 square meters. The museum name and inscription: Mu Qing. The exterior of the museum is in the shape of a cave dwelling, which means that the party's journalism was founded and developed in the cave dwellings of Yan'an. The display is divided into five units, with more than 180 cultural relics and more than 400 precious historical photos, documents and various charts and materials on display. In particular, the interior makes clever use of ancient grottoes to display scenes of the selfless work of news warriors in those days, such as editing and broadcasting news. It is exquisitely conceived and original, and vividly reproduces the arduous journey and glorious achievements of the press and publishing industry in the Yan'an period.

Qingliang Stele Forest: Located in the northwest of Qingliang Mountain, it was built in 1997. There are many stone steles, the fragrance of calligraphy and ink, and the collection of excellent works. It contains more than 100 exquisite calligraphy works by the founding fathers, scholars and celebrities, most of which are related to Yan'an. It is crowded with tourists and has become a new landscape of Qingliang Mountain.

Shaanbei Public School Memorial Pavilion: Built in October 2000, it is located at the foot of the southern foot of Qingliang Mountain.
