In the 28th year of Guangxu, namely 1902, Sun Yat-sen was 36 years old. At this time, he lived in Yokohama, Japan, devoted himself to the study of revolutionary theory, and actively prepared to devote himself to revolutionary practice. His goal is to overthrow the Manchu dynasty, and he will never write the title of the Qing emperor in calligraphy.
Before the Republic of China, his calligraphy was only signed, not signed. After the founding of the Republic of China, there were cases where the year was countersigned, but in general, it was only countersigned.
Secondly, Sun Yat-sen's calligraphy is a beginner's study of Liu style, and a later study of strict style, with both characteristics. Later, Sun Yat-sen used Wang (Xizhi) and Su (Dongpo) to brush, and his calligraphy was rough and thick with few strokes. However, several strokes in this painting have the characteristics of Sun Wen, but most of them are particularly stiff and erratic, which is obviously forged.
