He is good at calligraphy seal cutting and studied under the old calligrapher Mr. Li Guangyuan. He is currently a member of China Calligraphers Association, Liaoning Calligraphers Association, China Association for Promoting Democracy, Deputy Secretary General of Liaoning Hui Calligraphy and Painting Association and Secretary General of Laolongkou Calligraphy and Painting Institute.
