The Cold Smoke Pavilion Taoist Temple is built on the Bailong Mountain, which can be reached from the main street of Yangxi Town through a roadway and a flight of stairs through Shimen Mountain. The first couplet on both sides of Shimen is: "I want to go to the blue sky to embrace the bright moon;" Sweep away the red dust. " Climbing more than 50 stone steps, climbing the "secluded place" temple built before the establishment of New China in the Mid-Levels. The temple is located at the lower west side of Lengshan Taoist Temple, built on the cliff, facing the Fujiang River, with a cliff wall of about two acres. There are ancient banyan trees on the cliff, with lush branches and leaves, most of which are shade. There is a pair of woodcut couplets at the entrance, which reads: "The pavilion overlooks the Sanjiang River, and every time you look at Jinhua, you will see the Beidou; The mountain gate is divided into two temples, and there is no jade belt to give Dongpo. " The entrance to the temple is the Buddhist temple, which has a statue of the Tathagata. There is a small shop near the Buddhist temple, selling incense sticks, paper money and cakes. Under the shadow of banyan trees, there are fish ponds, rockeries, gardens and a rectangular stage and theater, which can accommodate more than 100 people. There is a couplet on the front column of the stage: "expand my mind and sing the river of no return;" This is a slap in the face, which is refreshing. "There is a long corridor on the left side of the stage, and there is a couplet:" When is it as real as land? "The name of this place is a bit like a temple." There is a diaojiao building outside the gallery, which is called "Wangjiang Building". The triple above was written by Li Yusheng, a famous person in the Revolution of 1911. There is a "beautiful scenery" when approaching the cold mountain, overlooking Yangxi Town, and seeing Dongshan and Tongquan Dam, the peaks are lush and the clouds are lingering, and the scenery is beautiful and complement each other. Therefore, it is known as a "small scenic spot on earth" with many tourists. China people in the county usually come to the party to recognize Laoma Tianqu, Li Yusheng, Tubing Mountain, Wenying River and Huang Dong. Wen Yingjiang once wrote a landscape couplet: "Reclaim half an acre of land; Collect ten miles from the river. " The scenery in front of you hits the nail on the head. Every summer, because the banyan trees cover the sky and the river breeze blows gently, it is very cool. This is a good place for summer vacation, and many residents climb mountains to enjoy the cool.
Enter Zhaimen from the access point, climb the stone steps, turn up the mountain, and you will reach the main entrance of Lengyanting Temple. The gate is wide, and the head of the gate is a woodcut couplet written by He Jingu, a county person: "Lonely dusk, Jiang Tianyi is colored; The western Western jackdaw is clearing the sails and the bell is ringing. " In front of the mountain gate is a clearing, which used to be the venue for various activities during the temple fair. Cold Mountain Taoist Temple is divided into three layers according to the mountain situation from bottom to top: the first layer is Wuzu Hall (also known as Five Churches, including five animals such as pigs, chickens, sheep, cows and frogs). It is said that it was built in the Ming Dynasty. In order to make way for it, the forest was cut down. On the second floor is Wenchang Hall, dedicated to Wenchang Bodhisattva (in charge of culture), and on the right are Sanxian Hall and Wangyao Hall. On the third floor, the highest is Laojun Hall (dedicated to Laojun Li) and Dongyue Hall (dedicated to Emperor Dongyue). On its right is the Tibetan Scripture Building, and on its left is the Chunyang Building (dedicated to the founder of Chunyang). There is a cloister between the three halls, so even on rainy days, tourists will not get wet when they walk through the whole Taoist temple. ?
The highest and best place in Leng Yan Pavilion is Chunyang Building. Chunyang Building is located at the side of Laojun Hall, more than four feet high. There is a hall on the top floor dedicated to the statue of Lv Chunyang (Dong Bin). This building was built in the early years of the Republic of China, with novel design and excellent location. Very spacious, the sill is full of backrest seats, the inner building is carved with beams and painted buildings, and the windows are bright and clean. It's really interesting to climb the building and overlook the wonders such as Huang Hu Village, Stone Axe Mountain and Tianqiao Road.
Located on the right side of Dongyue Hall, the Tibetan Scripture Building is a treasure house for storing Taoist classics. The Buddhist scripture building is located on the cliff side, facing the Fujiang River, hidden in the shade, with a red dome, glazed tiles and double cornices, which adds the beauty of the scenery to the Taoist temple from a distance. Every time the rising sun rises, people lean against the railing and look into the distance. The Fujiang River is surging under their feet and smoky, as if they were on the island of Xianshanpeng. ?
Of all the palaces in Leng Yan Pavilion, Dongyue Hall is the most mysterious, with the most myths and legends. Dongyue Hall is dedicated to Emperor Dongyue. It is said that "Dongyue is in charge of life and death", and the largest number of believers come to worship. The statue of Dongyue the Great is very magnificent. There are two kinds of military and civilian general in the temple, as well as judges, imps, tauren, horse-faced gods and officials. In particular, the image of an official standing on both sides yawning is lifelike, vivid and eye-catching. The whole temple, the light is gloomy, giving people a sense of terror. Behind the statue of Dongyue in Dongyue Hall, there is a statue of the King of Nanyue. There is a pair of couplets at the entrance of Dongyue Hall, which reads: "Good people should not be discouraged, accumulate virtue in this life and suffer in the next life;" Treacherous men should stop being willful and pay their debts if they live. "There is a big abacus hanging on the front beam of Dongyue Temple, which is about 3 meters long and 1.4 meters wide. Abacus beads are as big as bowls. It is rumored that someone came here in the dead of night and heard the sound of abacus beads. It is said that there is a businessman on the street of Yangxi Town who reneged on his word and defaulted on his debts many times. The creditor had no choice but to go to Dongyue Hall to kowtow to the Bodhisattva statue, burn money and turn it into paper, and pray for justice. The next day, the creditor took the businessman to take an oath in front of the statue of Dongyue. The businessman was scared to death when he saw that the accounts on the abacus were very clear and accurate. When I got home, my conscience was condemned, and I immediately paid off my previous debts, which also caused an illness. After the rumor spread, no one broke the contract in Yangxi Town. ?
On one side of Dongyue Hall is Laojun Hall. The statue of Li Laojun, the ancestor of Taoism, is serious and noble, with 12 Kong Jinxian with superb carving skills on both sides. There are carved beams and painted buildings in the house, and there are statues of various immortals on the beams. There is a four-character plaque at the head of the old gentleman's temple. "Still a dragon" was praised by Confucius, a great thinker in the Spring and Autumn Period: "When it is gloomy and elegant, it is still a dragon in the sky". The calligraphy on the plaque is vigorous and vigorous. It is said that the famous calligrapher wrote it in cotton ink. There is an ancient ginkgo tree under the stone steps of your Royal Highness Lao Jun, which is about five or six feet high. Yun Chuan began planting in the middle of Ming Dynasty, and it has a history of more than 300 years. Ginkgo tree is surrounded by two people embracing each other, but it can't be surrounded, and its branches and leaves are lush. The shade of the tree and the balcony set each other off and add a lot of color to the Taoist scenery.
