First of all, cognition should be correct.
In fact, our pen control ability is not forced to control the pen, but to guide the pen as easily and naturally as chopsticks, so as to make the best use of the situation. Therefore, to improve the ability of pen control, we must first have a clear point in consciousness and cognition. A writer is like a scholar, like his knowledge, like his ambition, in short, like a person.
Cognitive mistakes go in the wrong direction, and the more you practice, the worse you get, and the more you practice, the more you leave! Only by knowing what is right and finding the right method and path can we go far and wide, otherwise it is easy to fall into the trap of strangeness, dispersion and wildness!
Secondly, we should understand the brushwork.
Brushability is also the performance of a writing brush. For example, wool is made of wool, rich in ink and soft, suitable for printing, official and letter. Wolf hair is made of weasel hair. If it's real, it's soft. Generally, the wolf's brush on the market is made of woolen cloth, so it is quite stiff and suitable for calligraphy and cursive writing. Double brush is generally a combination of wool and wolf hair, suitable for beginners. This pen can be used in all kinds of books. Then, to understand the brushwork, you have to experience it in training practice, and generally you have to practice your lines for a period of time.
Nowadays, many students in the academic school are outstanding. I think we used to practice every line in a bag of fringed paper. As Teacher Zhang Yuxiang said, we advocate that you can only understand the golden mean after going through two poles!
Calm down and control the pen freely.
In my calligraphy class, no matter children or big friends, as long as it is the first time to write with a pen, there is a phenomenon of unstable grip and jitter. And this unstable pen control phenomenon is very normal. So how can we improve our pen control ability?
The first is to practice calligraphy standing up. Legs apart, shoulder-height, brush naturally hangs down, leaving the paper. In other words, when you start practicing calligraphy, you should practice by hanging your pen and wrist, and master the ability to control your pen in helpless practice.
The second thing to note is that in the process of writing, "we should be calm and calm" and "not anxious or dry". Fidgeting, inability to meditate and inconsistency in thinking and writing are common problems for beginners. I always feel that after practicing for a while, why can't I get up? In fact, this is a process. When the consistency between Qi and Wen is achieved in calmness, it is natural to achieve "thinking is writing". So novices need to be calm and stand and write. These two points have been achieved, and the ability to control pens within a certain period of time will be natural.
