Cao Libo, female, born in 1964, is a professor at the School of Literature and Journalism and Communication, Minzu University of China. In 2002, he graduated from the Chinese Department of Beijing Normal University with a doctorate in ancient literature from China. He is the executive director of China Dream of Red Mansions Society. The main research direction is Ming and Qing literature.

Since 1988, he has been engaged in the teaching and research of China ancient literature in the Chinese Department of colleges and universities. He has published more than 30 papers in Literary Heritage, Journal of Dream of Red Mansions and Journal of Beijing Normal University. Academic monographs include A Dream of Red Mansions: A Study of Dongting, Collation of Seven Chapters of Jian 'an (Yang Yingji), Version and Text of A Dream of Red Mansions, etc. He has explained the poetry characters of A Dream of Red Mansions in TV columns such as lecture halls and famous teachers' lecture halls, as well as in the program "The Red Chamber in Yanyuan Dialect" of Beijing TV Station.
