What are the three famous inscriptions in Jinci Temple?
The inscription and preface of Jinci Temple stand in Baohan Pavilion in southern Zhejiang. The Preface to the Inscription of Jinci Inscription, written by Li Shimin in Taizong, is 1203 words. This was written by Li Shimin in the twentieth year of Zhenguan (646). It is the earliest existing calligraphy tablet in China and a national treasure in the art of calligraphy. There are stone buildings engraved with Huayan Sutra in Tang Dynasty on the left and right sides of the front yard of Shengfeng Temple. In the second year of Tang Shengli (699), Wu Zetian asked Siksananda, a monk from the western regions of Khotan Kingdom, to translate eighty volumes of the Indian Buddhist sutra Huayan Sutra in Luoyang, the eastern capital, and asked the poet Song and calligrapher Lv Xianqiao to write Dan and carve it into 126 stone carvings in Jinyang, the northern capital. The stone buildings in Hua Yan Jing are precious materials for studying religion, calligraphy and sculpture in Tang Dynasty. On the west side of the pagoda of the relic health tower of the Confucian Temple, there is an interesting courtyard named Liu Shan Garden. There are two pavilions in the park, one is Liu Shanting and the other is Companion Pavilion. There is a tall open wall in front of the moon pavilion. There is a brick carving of "Baiyue Mountain House" on the wall, which is the work of Yang, a calligrapher and Jinci person in the Qing Dynasty.
