Half a year later, with the completion of the ancillary projects of the memorial hall, the descendants of the Wang family decided to hold the inauguration and commemoration ceremony of the memorial hall in Yushan on November 10 (the first day of the tenth month of the lunar calendar). At that time, there will also be Lanzhou Taiping Drum and Qinqiang opera performances.
Wang Yangming, whose name is Wang Shouren, courtesy name Boyan, and nickname Mr. Yangming, is a famous philosopher, thinker, educator, military strategist and calligrapher in ancient my country. His ancestral home is Yuyao, Zhejiang. He is a descendant of Wang Xi of the Jin Dynasty. The theory is respected as the "Yangming School" by the world. It has far-reaching influence and is popular in Japan, Korea, Southeast Asia and other countries. A 229-year-old stone tablet is preserved in the Anning Wang Yangming Memorial Hall. From the inscription, it can be seen that the descendants of the Wang family have been sorted for 17 generations. "Family Tree" records the whole process of the migration of Xuan Yigong and Xuan Ergong, a branch of Wang Yangming's descendants, from Gubeikou to Lanzhou Anning Wangjiazhuang and Qilihe Wangjiabao in the first year of Xuande in the Ming Dynasty. It records 17 generations of Wang descendants. The history of reproduction, according to relevant expert research, this family tree was written in the 13th year of Guangxu (1887), which strongly proves that the tens of thousands of people with the surname Wang in Lanzhou are indeed descendants of Wang Yangming.
