Notre Dame is a complete volume, which is collected in the Palace Museum in Beijing.
Notre Dame was written by Huai Su, a wild grass monk in the Tang Dynasty. Written in 793 AD (the ninth year of Tang Zhenyuan), Huai Su set out from his hometown of Hunan in his later years and passed through Yiling Town (called Dongling in ancient times) in Jiangdu. It tells the story that the daughters of Du and Kang Erxian in the Jin Dynasty ascended to heaven to pray for the Jianghuai people.
