Official script, also known as auxiliary script and history book, is a new style of writing that appeared at the end of Qin dynasty, which can help writers reach the speed that seal script is difficult to achieve. Its font is square, its lines are straight and its thickness is good, which breaks the tradition of six scripts and lays the foundation of regular script, marking a turning point in the history of Chinese character development. The founder of Lishu is said to be Cheng Miao, a native of Xiadu (now southwest of Shaanxi) in the Qin Dynasty.
Cheng Miao is Yu Yuancen. At first, he worked as a jailer in a county office. Later, he offended Qin Shihuang and was imprisoned in Yunyang (now northwest of Chunhua, Shaanxi). At that time, due to centralization and numerous documents, many military emergencies were often delayed because it was difficult to seal the word quickly. Cheng Miao knows that this is a top priority. In his early years, he vowed to devote his life to the reform of writing. So although he was in prison, he still insisted on learning the calligraphy of Da Xiaozhuan. He wrote hundreds of words in different fonts, and then chose the most satisfactory one. After ten years of painstaking research, he finally simplified Da Zhuan and created more than 3,000 exquisite and practical official scripts.
2. Cai Yong saves the piano.
In the Eastern Han Dynasty, there was a minister named Cai Yong. Cai Yong is very honest, honest and frank, and there is no room for any sand in his eyes. For some bad phenomena, he always dares to speak frankly to the spirit emperor. In this way, he had more conflicts with the spirit emperor, and the spirit emperor gradually hated him. In addition, the eunuchs around Lingdi also hate and fear his integrity. They often spread rumors and slander in front of the spiritual emperor, saying that he is arrogant and may rebel sooner or later. Cai Yong's situation is getting more and more dangerous. Knowing that he had become a thorn in the side of Emperor Ling, he was in danger of being hurt at any time, so he packed his bags and fled the capital by water, far away to Emperor Wu, and lived in seclusion.
Cai Yong loved music, and he himself was proficient in melody and classicism. Even the slightest mistake in playing can't escape his ears. Cai Yong is particularly good at playing the piano and has a lot of research on it. He has a set of incisive and original views on the selection, production and tuning of piano. When he fled Beijing, he abandoned many possessions, but he was always reluctant to leave his beloved piano at home and take it with him from time to time to take care of it.
In those days when Wudi lived in seclusion, Cai Yong often played the piano, expressing his grief and indignation at being persecuted and lamenting the bleak future.
One day, Cai Yong was sitting in her room fumbling, and the landlady was cooking in the kitchen next door. She stuffed the firewood into the kitchen room, and the sparks jumped around, and the firewood burned crackling.
Suddenly, Cai Yong was surprised to hear the crisp crackling sound coming from the next room. He listened carefully for a few seconds, shouted "No", jumped up and ran to the kitchen. When he came to the fire, Cai Yong reached out and pulled out the paulownia wood that had just been stuffed into the stove as firewood. He shouted: "Don't burn it, don't burn it, it's a rare good material for piano!" " Cai Yong's hand was burned, and he didn't feel pain. He was blowing and touching it in surprise on the paulownia tree. Fortunately, the rescue was timely and the paulownia was still intact, so Cai Yong bought it. Then carefully carved, meticulous and painstaking, and finally made this piece of paulownia into a piano. This piano is beautifully played and its timbre is unparalleled in the world.
This piano has been handed down and become a rare treasure in the world. Because its tail is burnt, people call it "Wei Jiaoqin".
The spirit emperor didn't know the talents, which made Cai Yong down and out. Jiao also had the honor to meet a music expert with unique vision like Cai Yong, and finally showed his elegant demeanor. These two things are in sharp contrast, but they tell us the same truth: we should cherish and respect talents, be good at discovering others' talents and using them reasonably, so as to make the best of them.
3. Stone sells words for wine.
The Han Dynasty (206 BC-220 AD) lasted for 426 years, which was a crucial period in the history of China's calligraphy development from constant changes to stereotypes. By the end of Han Dynasty, China's calligraphy was basically completed. Lishu is a widely used script in Han Dynasty. Official script in Han Dynasty is also called "Fenshu" or "Bafen". Not only is the brushwork more and more sophisticated, but the style of the script is also diverse. By the Eastern Han Dynasty, Lishu had entered a stage of mature style and various schools, and famous artists came forth in large numbers.
Although the Lingdi of the Eastern Han Dynasty was incompetent, he loved calligraphy. He once recruited people who were good at calligraphy from all over the world to gather in Hongdumen, with about a few hundred people. After carefully reading everyone's works, Emperor Han Ling found that among these people, Wanrenshi spread his wings like an eagle, opening and closing his wings, making him look just like everyone else. And his eight-part essay calligraphy is the best. Large, the diameter of a word can be one foot long; Small, you can write 1000 on an inch square bamboo slip. Emperor Han Ling was overjoyed and sent someone to call the stone into the palace.
At this time, Shi was drinking in the hotel empty-handed without knowing it. After drinking enough, the store came to ask for money. Proud of his talent, he took out his pen and waved books on the hotel wall for sale, attracting many people to watch. The condition of stone is simple: if you sell him wine, you sell it to the store; Or shovel the words on the wall. There was enough money for drinks, but when Emperor Han Ling heard about it, he gave up the idea of asking him to be an official.
Shi once wrote an inscription for Yuan Shuli's giant deer Geng Qiubei, which is his only work recorded in a historical book, but the monument has disappeared for a long time.
