Features of the collection: In the upper left corner of the frame, there are the words "Orchid Written in Snow Studio", a seal of "Heather Painting and Calligraphy", the words "Complementary Picture of Songpu Window" and a seal of "Xi Xue".
Related background information: Among the painters from imperial clan, Park Xuezhai became famous earlier. Park Xuezhai, formerly known as Aisin Gioro Puxi, was born in 1893 and died in 1966. Park Xuezhai is good at writing and poetry. He is good at calligraphy and painting. He studied Zhao first, then Mi Fei in middle age. Cursive script is the best, and regular script is ok. Park Xuezhai's paintings initially inherited the Song and Yuan styles, refined and elegant. Later, it was transferred to the style of literati in Ming and Qing Dynasties. They are simple and sparse, with beautiful scenery, flowers and birds and people, especially orchids. His works retain some characteristics of famous artists in the past, but there is no obvious original style. Pu Songchuang was born in Beijing in 19 13 and died in 199 1 year. Mr. Pu Songchuang's landscape painting has profound attainments and unique painting style. He is good at combining the exquisite and profound beauty of the northern school with the clear and muddy beauty of the southern school with a small pen. Especially after New China, Mr. Pu Songling painted natural scenery with traditional brush and ink, which gave his works new vitality.

Expert comment: Mr. Pu Songchuang's painting style is very unique. He is good at landscapes, flowers and horses. He used ink painting, and painting water is his uniqueness. Mr. Park Xuezhai, his orchids were better in the Song and Yuan Dynasties. This painting is the work of Pu Songling and Pu Xuezhai in the 1950s. Everyone has their own style. After learning from each other, they drew this picture, which is very skillful.
