Does Su Shi’s Xuetang have any special meaning?

When Su Shi was demoted to Huangzhou and served as the deputy envoy of Tuanlian, he built the "Snow Hall" on the Longwang hillside next to Red Cliff in the fifth year of Yuanfeng, Shenzong of the Song Dynasty, as a place for him to live and farm. It snowed heavily when the house was completed, so he painted snow on all four walls of the house and named it "Snow Hall." The current church was rebuilt in 1986. The middle is the main hall, the east room is the bedroom, and the west room is the guest room. The main hall displays "Dongpo Farming Garden", "Snow Plum Blossom Picture" and "Snow Hall Flying Snow Picture". The guest room displays Su Shi's famous poem "Dongpo Eight Poems" written by the famous Japanese calligrapher Kato Xingfeng. Xiang Anshi in the Song Dynasty once wrote a poem, as follows:

Xuetang went to the old Xuetang in Huangzhou, and the words in Xuetang were heartbreaking. Purple smoke has roads leading to tongs and cypresses. When will the clear waves see Luoyang? Looking to the north, China is all in Jin Dynasty. Who is the king of Qicang with the word "party"? The ancient king read the treatise "Bleeding Blood in Empty" and "The Vast Universe". This is a long story.

Song Su Shi's "Snow Hall": "Su Zi had to abandon the garden on the east slope, built it with walls, and built a hall. He named it 'Snow Hall'. The hall was built in the heavy snow. Because the snow is painted between the four walls, there is no room for it. When you look around and look around, it is nothing but snow."
