Cuijian Tea has won numerous awards since its inception. It has won gold medals, silver medals and the title of famous brand product in national famous tea competitions many times. In 1992, it was rated as a provincial famous tea at the Third Famous Tea Review Conference of Anhui Province. In 1995, it was rated as the Gold Medal Famous Tea at the Second China Agricultural Expo. In 2001, it won the "Gold Medal" in the national high-quality tea competition at the China (Wuhu) International Tea Expo and Trade Fair, and was successfully auctioned at a high price of 6,900 yuan per tael. In 2005, it was recognized as the "Best-Selling Brand in Anhui Province Market" at the first Tea Expo in China (Anhui). In 2006, it was recognized as "Anhui Famous Brand Agricultural Products" with the consent of the Anhui Provincial People's Government. After it was renamed "Cuijian Tea" in 2009, Fang Zhongchuan, a famous calligrapher from Anhui Province, inscribed the name of the tea, and Feng Zhonghua, a famous Chinese calligrapher, wrote a couplet: "The hometown of Huangmei is fragrant at Cuijian, and the wonderful music and tea have a long lasting charm."
