Shi kai's life story
He is a top figure in the printing industry in China. Its printing style affects the contemporary printing altar. As early as the mid-1980s, Indian shrines were known as "three pillars", that is, Wang Yong ascended to Beijing; Han Tianheng lives in the sea; Shi Kai leads the way in southern Fujian. He, Wang Yong, He and Wo Xinghua. Known as the leader of "popular book style" and "the heavyweight of China book circle". Seal cutting began at the age of 16. Geng Yi, Chen Zifen. In ten years, I walked out of the fence, and the method of sealing became its own system. Knife is also different from its predecessors. His calligraphy has a strong tone of Ming and Qing Dynasties, and the influence from Huang Daozhou and Fu Shan can be seen almost everywhere. From Huang Daozhou, he got a strange and indifferent retreat, and from Fu Shan, he got a free atmosphere. However, both of them climbed through the Dharma Milk of Naishi Chen Zifen. Chen Zifen's calligraphy seal cutting developed from right to bottom, and the brushwork was carried forward in Shikai. But it's stiff, a little rigid, and the stone is weird. Compared with the elegance of Leng Yan's Shikai seal cutting, Shikai's calligraphy shows a low-key persistence, and he transforms the heavy eschatological feeling of Huang Daozhou's calligraphy into an openness and harmony. With a religious spiritual sense of belonging, however, this religious sense has a positive sense of joining the WTO, just like Zen's "carrying water and chopping wood is nothing more than a wonderful way", which regards nature as a Buddha. The Zen meaning contained in calligraphy makes Shi Kai's calligraphy far from any contemporary calligrapher in artistic conception and style. What is particularly commendable is that this kind of Zen is not deliberately artificial, but naturally revealed without affectation, which is far from the affectation and posturing of some contemporary fake Taoist Zen calligraphy that pretends to be a layman. Shi Kai's calligraphy seems to use the methods of seal cutting, short front Su Mo, squatting paper and breaking ink at the same time, so the lines are dry and heavy, dense and smoky. Not so ethereal. It is even faster and more profitable. Its structure is dragged to the right, often the last stroke is dragged or wound or wound, showing a leisurely and reserved creative mentality, which may become a vulgar pen under the wrist of other calligraphers. But in Shi Kai's pen, it has become the finishing touch of personalized style. As the saying goes: although sick, it is a family of its own. Shi Kai's calligraphy emphasizes expression, and his works have strong loneliness and strange personality. Among the contemporary calligraphers who follow the Ming and Qing Dynasties, Shi Kai is undoubtedly the most original one.
