Sun Haiqing (1956.12—) was born in Taiyuan, Shanxi. Good at oil painting and Chinese painting. Graduated from Taiyuan Institute of Technology in 1983, majoring in textile, dyeing and weaving, arts and crafts design. Now he is a creative artist of Shanxi Painting Academy. The work "Maijishan Grottoes" was selected into the first national landscape painting exhibition; "Singing the Wind and Roaring the Moon" was selected into the second Chinese Oil Painting Exhibition. "Morning Light" and "Dawn Dew" were selected into the 8th National Exhibition of New Artists and New Works. The work "Mirror Flowers in the Water" was selected into the 2004 First Chinese Painting Exhibition of Members of the China Artists Association.
