Text/Ms. Wang: "Commemorating the Master of Printing Light"
When Zong Yi lived in Wumen, he went to Guobao Temple to visit the Master of Printing Light. The teacher has nothing else to say, but it is most important to teach integrity to recite Buddha and avalokitesvara. Today, people's hearts are changing day by day, and all women have lost their upbringing, so that they are always obedient, which is deeply regrettable. So whenever a woman dressed in colorful clothes comes to see her, the teacher will scold her, and many people use this as an excuse. I don't blame myself, thinking I can teach. Zong Yi made a wish book "The Original Wishing Sutra of Tibetan Bodhisattva" before. In order to thank his ancestors' parents, he asked the teacher for instructions after writing it. When a teacher sees that the font is incomplete and doesn't finish reading it, he is severely criticized. It is said that Mahayana classics, all Buddhas are wise, and you will benefit from sincere writing. If you specialize in typesetting, no matter how beautiful the decoration is, you will lose your respect and be laughed at. Deeply ashamed, Zong Yi turned to write the Amitabha Sutra and presented it. Although the teacher was full of color, he earnestly warned that Buddhist scriptures should not be neglected. Zong Yi asked the teacher to write an inscription to warn the buddhas. The ugly country was destroyed, and the scriptures were not taken out in a hurry, and the teacher's handwriting was buried. If you decide to return this matter to the Soviet Union, or find it now, you can maintain it as sandalwood, just like a teacher. Since the teacher has been raised safely, we can only live up to the teacher's lofty aspirations and virtue by following his Buddhism and doing it honestly!
Chen Geng converted to disciple Zong Yi on 1 1 month.
2. Copying scriptures is a way to practice and cultivate happiness.
(1) The merits of copying classics are extraordinary.
"King Kong Prajna Paramita Sutra" said: "If there are good men and good women, they should be given in the sand body of the Ganges River on the first day and in the sand body of the Ganges River on the second day. If there is no restriction on Jin Muru's robbery and charity in the body, if someone hears this classic again, he will be more confident and his happiness will win him over, not to mention writing, accepting, reading and explaining to others. "
The third volume of Debate on China's Borders puts forward ten classic acceptance methods, such as writing, dedication, teaching, listening, reading, accepting, performing, satirizing, thinking and practicing. Bodhisattva also said that there are five pillars of islam in copying scriptures: one can be close to the Tathagata; Can ingest Ford; It is also praise and practice; Can be supported by heaven and man; Can eliminate evil. Therefore, copying classics is considered to be one of the best ways to accept classics. In many important Mahayana classics, such as the Sangha Sutra, the Diamond Sutra, the Big Dipper Sutra, the Pharmacist Sutra, and even the Tibetan Sutra, the Vimalakīrti Sutra, the Infinite Life Sutra, and the Jingjue Sutra, it is obvious that Buddhist scriptures are written, read and widely disseminated, which has great merits.
Therefore, since the Six Dynasties, there have been many devout Buddhist believers in various dynasties, including monks, emperors, officials, imperial envoys, literati and civilians, who wrote scriptures to publicize and spread Buddhism. Or write scriptures for praying, repaying kindness, giving alms and recommending death. For example, Master Ming Xun of the Ming Dynasty was a China scholar before becoming a monk. One day, he suddenly had a sore on his face and the pain was unbearable. Later, because of writing the Diamond Sutra, the Big Dipper Sutra, the Shurangama Sutra and the confessions of Sanweishui Scenic Area, there is no cure. For another example, Wenzhou joined the army in the Song Dynasty and wrote a volume of the Diamond Sutra, which was dedicated to Buddhist temples. On the way home by boat, although it was difficult in the wind, I was able to reach the shore safely. In the spring of the ninth year in Hong Ren, Japan (August 18), an epidemic occurred in Japan, killing countless people. Emperor Emei was deeply saddened. Later, due to the master's recitation (Konghai: 774-835), he copied the Prajna Heart Sutra with One Word and Three Rites. When the online book of Prajna Heart Sutra was completed, it was effective immediately, the epidemic situation was immediately controlled, and the voice of joy spread all over the streets. Later, five Japanese emperors, namely Houguang, Houhuayuan, Hounara, Tochimachi, and Guangge, also held sutras to save the nation from extinction. These copied scriptures are enshrined together with Prajna Heart Sutra in the Heart Sutra Hall of Xuegong. Since then, people all over Japan have fallen in love with the copying and worship of Prajna Heart Sutra.
(2) The practice function of copying scriptures is to purify the mind by copying scriptures, so copying scriptures is a kind of practice, and Liuparamita can also practice by copying scriptures.
Copying scriptures and becoming attached is not only spreading Buddhism; It is also the best charity if the merits of copying scriptures are returned to all beings. When copying classics, you put your whole body and mind into it. At this time, your body, mouth and heart are in line with Buddhism, that is, keeping precepts. Copying scripture means carefully copying scripture word for word, so it must be copied with regular calligraphy fonts, not only with neat fonts, but also with care not to write typos, omit writing or repeat. Proofread it again after writing, and correct any mistakes. Whether copying the heart sutra or other Buddhist sutras, try to complete the whole volume at once, and don't give up halfway. For beginners, even the short sutra "Prajna Heart Sutra" is very difficult to write with a brush, and it must be completed with considerable endurance, so it is a training of humiliation and acrobatics. Copying classic calligraphy works should be accurate and aesthetic. Therefore, we must practice word for word wholeheartedly in order to write the classics neatly and perfectly.
If we regard copying classics as a daily practice class, we must always keep a belief: we must persevere, even if we only make a little progress every day, write more beautifully and write more correctly every day, and we will certainly cultivate long-term diligence. One word and one Buddha should be copied from the scriptures, and every Buddha should be printed in the heart. Copy Buddhist scriptures with the most sincere heart and put all my strength into it, so that I can concentrate more. After a person concentrates, it is not easy to be shaken by the outside world, and then he can get rid of all kinds of distractions, make his mind clean and peaceful, change from single-minded to unintentional, and reach the state of single-minded. If you can put your mind on everything, you will certainly be able to exert your unlimited potential, and at the same time, you can get rid of all the troubles caused by your persistence. Therefore, copying the scriptures by heart means awakening in one stroke and one painting, repeatedly experiencing "meditation" and gradually approaching the Buddha. By constantly copying scriptures, you can really achieve the purpose of practicing, but if you just copy and don't understand the contents of scriptures, you will inevitably feel empty and bored, and you will not be able to appreciate all the fun and happiness of Buddhism. If we can understand the meaning of scripture and explore its far-reaching teachings by studying at the same time, then although the classics are still fresh, Buddha and Bodhisattva seem to be around us at any time.
With the process of copying scriptures, learning classics and understanding their contents, the mentality can gradually adapt to Buddhism, on the one hand, it can increase the interest and willingness to copy scriptures; On the other hand, it can bind our body and mind, confuse our body and mind with greed, anger and delusion, and gradually calm down. In the process of spiritual practice, progress may be slow, but because the mind is not bound by anything, like a mirror, it can see clearly not only the superficial phenomenon or the inside of things, but also the true face of the cause and the whole, so as to make proper judgments and find ways to use it correctly in affairs and improve the wisdom of ordinary people.
Copying scripture can not only achieve the goal of self-cultivation, but also pray for returning relatives and friends and all beings, so as to obtain physical and mental peace and good fortune. At the same time, it can help promote the spread of Buddhism, and its merits are very remarkable. Moreover, copying Buddhist scriptures has the advantage of spreading and promoting Buddhism without being limited by venues and property; At the same time, people who copy classics can also accumulate great merits and blessings. Copying scriptures is actually a good thing for personal gain. Therefore, many famous monks in ancient times not only copied scriptures themselves, but also encouraged Buddhists to copy Buddhist scriptures. Hongyi, a famous master of legalism, said, "My husband indulged in Le Shu, and the Buddha told him. However, those who learn Taoism can write Buddhist scriptures as much as possible and spread them around the world, so that all living beings are happy to be supported, self-interested and altruistic, and interested in Buddhism and Taoism. "
Please come in and enjoy the shiny Buddhist scriptures (copied with gold lacquer, so extraordinary). This article is reposted:
After coming back from Jiuhua Mountain, I always felt that I should copy the Juesheng Sutra again, so I began to copy it. But the difference is that this time he copied them with gold lacquer, which made him very excited. What can I say? Just look at the picture below.

Is this a glittering Buddhist scripture manuscript?
The following is transferred from Senior Brother Li Shifang:
I didn't feel special when copying with ink before, but I immediately felt different when copying with gold paint. I feel like I'm writing shiny classics, and every stroke and painting is shining, which makes me enjoy writing, and the more I write, the more I can't stop. It's really strange that I didn't feel this way when I copied it with ink.
I copied scriptures with gold lacquer, inspired by a news report I saw many years ago. This report said that a very old handwritten scripture was found in Dunhuang Mogao Grottoes. The difference between this scripture and other handwritten scriptures is that all the Buddhist names in the scripture are written in gold paint, and all the bodhisattvas are written in silver paint, which makes the whole scripture look very solemn …
I was thinking at that time, if I had the ability to copy a Buddhist sutra like this, I would write all the Buddhist names in the Buddhist sutra in gold paint, all the bodhisattva names in silver paint, and the rest of the Buddhist sutra in ink ... I thought about it for many years, and now I finally wrote it, but I finally decided to write the whole sutra in gold paint. On the one hand, it is inconvenient to change pens. On the other hand, I really want to know what it's like to write the whole sutra in gold lacquer, and I also want to give it a try.
After copying the first line of scripture, I couldn't believe the feeling. Wow, that's great. It took me five hours to copy, and my hands hurt. I can't stop, thinking about copying it again the next day. That's great. I really don't know what force pulled me back again and again! Copying classics with ink, after two hours, I was tired and wanted to stop. Moreover, when I copied the scriptures this time, I felt that the words written were "smooth" and there was no anger between the lines. Besides, my desk faces the window, so every time I write a stroke, I can see the words shining through the window. I really don't know how to describe it. I feel that Jin Dian I see in my heart is superior. My mother and fellow initiates were surprised to see the scriptures I copied.
When I went to Jiuhua Mountain, I passed a market selling inkstones, so I also bought Thai baht sand and inkstones. When I came back, I wanted to copy scriptures with Thai baht sand. Now it seems that I have to copy the Tibetan scriptures with gold paint before I can have fun. It doesn't matter whether I copied it on dark paper so that I can see the golden words, because I copied it for myself, and I think it's as good as copying it on rice paper.
Gold lacquer is actually a kind of golden pigment, which can be bought in stationery stores or bookstores. As long as there are shops selling Chinese painting pigments, they should be sold. I estimate that it should be 20 to one bottle in 30 yuan in China. It is water-based and a little thick. It can be used with water, which is easier and cheaper than using an ink stick. If you can't buy Chinese painting, you can also use watercolor paint, and the effect should be the same. When writing, we should pay attention to the "gold content" of words. When the gold content is not enough, it is equivalent to writing with water and the words will disappear.
The gold lacquer bottle I used said, Windsor. Newton (Winsor &; Newton), gouache pigment, for painters, 800 gold, fine color, Windsor, England. Newton authorized Sino-British joint venture, manufactured by Tianjin Keya Art Materials Co., Ltd. 100 ml series 3.
Copying scriptures has many advantages, and there are many words in them. Please copy more classics.
The date of the photo should be August 25th, and the date on the camera is wrong. )
