Eight Horses is a very popular painting since the Six Dynasties. This is a photo of eight good horses that Zhou Muwang rode when he visited Kunlun Mountain. The names of these eight horses are recorded in different books. In Wang Jia's Notes on the Collection of Relics, it is recorded that "eight horses are called Jedi, feathering, soaring, shadow, photo, light, Xiang, fog and flapping"; In the biography of Mu, it is recorded as: Hua Yi, Yi Er, Chi Ji, Bai, overwhelming, stealing Li, (Liu Zongyuan's Eight Horses View uses this saying). When Liu Zongyuan arrived, many famous writers and poets suddenly wrote many poems about Eight Horses. There are eight famous horses in Bai Juyi's New Yuefu, eight horses in Yuan Zhen's Five-character Poems, and Li Guan's Preface to Zhou Muwang's Eight Horses. This literary phenomenon may be related to Tang Dezong's wishful thinking. In March of the first year of Yuanxing, due to Li Huaiguang's rebellion, Tang Dezong was lucky to be in Liangzhou and turned against Beijing in July. On this matter, Yuan Zhen said in the preface of "Looking at the clouds to catch horses": "Emperor Dezong had eight horses, but he was lucky and seven died. He only wishes that the clouds would not come and Zhenyuan would die of old age. " Li Zhao's Supplement to National History also talked about this matter. He said Wang Yunxiang: "When you die of old age, you will write more." It seems that at that time, the admiration for "Eight Horses" reached a new climax through the love for Dezong.
