On How to Overcome Middle School Students' English Learning Burnout

As one of the basic subjects, English has always been a compulsory course for middle school students, and its importance is self-evident. However, in the actual English learning, middle school students are not enthusiastic about English learning, have a low sense of achievement in English learning, even hate learning English, and have serious learning burnout, which affects students' English learning commitment and the improvement of English scores to some extent. As a class teacher, how to correct middle school students' English learning burnout is discussed in this paper.

First, clarify the purpose of learning English and create a good learning atmosphere.

When children enter the middle school threshold, the class teacher will tell the students the importance of learning English in the first class. English is an international language and the most populous language. There are high scores in the senior high school entrance examination and college entrance examination, and Chinese and mathematics are the main courses. When students realize the importance of learning English, they have a positive attitude and a strong sense of responsibility, so they can study independently. Read English for 30 minutes every morning and listen for 30 minutes at noon. The head teacher came to the classroom to inspect and supervise, posted English phonetic wall charts and famous sayings and aphorisms written in Chinese and English in the classroom, and created a good learning atmosphere for the class to learn English.
