Mao Zedong (word Runzhi, December 26, 1893-September 9, 1976) was the first head of state of the People's Republic of China (1949-1959).

Born in a rich peasant family in Xiangtan, Hunan Province, he graduated from Hunan Provincial No.1 Normal School. I worked as a librarian and a teacher in my early years. On October 1, 1949, the People's Republic of China was established, with the sole chairman of the Central People's Government and the first (national) chairman in 1954; The head of state led the "War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea", carried out "socialist transformation" and launched the "Great Leap Forward" during his term of office. In 1955, he refused to accept the rank of "Grand Marshal of the Chinese People".
