Hong Qian (1408—— 1466), the fifth-generation founder of Qian, was a scholar in Wanli period of Ming Dynasty and a history of rites. He often did good deeds and accumulated virtue, and once spent a lot of money dredging xipu.
Sun Chengen (1619-1659), the top scholar in Shunzhi period of Qing Dynasty, was edited by imperial academy and won the appreciation of the emperor shunzhi. Dai Yang (1737—— 1803), a rich man and a famous dutiful son during the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty, was once a political envoy and invested heavily in the construction of the grange.
Yang (whose date of birth and death is unknown) was a senior minister of the Ministry of Justice, giving lectures at Luyang Academy in Anhui Province, and wrote 32 volumes including Wu Jingbian and Ji Ji Pian.
Yang Sisun (1813 ——1889) was awarded the second prize of Xianfeng, and was edited by the Hanlin Academy.
Yang Yisun (1813 ——1881), a famous calligrapher, was once the magistrate of Fengyang, Anhui.
Yang Chongyi (? -1898), a scholar in the Guangxu period of the Qing Dynasty, the granddaughter of Li Hongzhang, and a former ambassador to Douchayuan;
Yang Yunshi (1872- 194 1), a patriotic poet, is the author of poetry anthology and notes of Jiangshan Wan Li House.
