There is a 16-year-old bookboy named Hu e in Lanzhou, an important town on the Silk Road. In his early years, he published more than 400 calligraphy works in dozens of newspapers and periodicals all over the country, won more than one international and domestic calligraphy award 100, and won the certificate of the highest paragraph (nine paragraphs) of juvenile calligraphy. In May of 1999, he entered the "China Contemporary Excellent Painters and Calligraphers' Joint Exhibition" organized by the Ministry of Culture and published "Hu Er Calligraphy". China Federation of Literary and Art Circles Publishing House and Shaanxi Tourism Publishing House also published "Calligraphy prodigy Hu E" and "Appreciation of Hu E's Calligraphy".

Hu E began to study with his father at the age of 3 and became a teacher at the age of 8. So far, he has been swimming in the ink sea of Yanshan 13 spring and autumn.

For more than ten years, under the careful guidance of her father, Xiao Hu 'e persistently copied the works of famous artists such as Liu Gongquan, Yan Zhenqing and Wang Xizhi, and seized every opportunity to humbly ask for advice from contemporary famous artists. He studied under the famous calligraphers such as Vice Chairman of China Calligraphy Association, President of China Calligraphy Magazine, Wang Chuangye, Meng, Huang, Xu Shangyi and so on. In order to absorb more artistic nutrition from the realistic soil, in the midsummer of 1997, accompanied by his mother, he packed his bags, went up to Dunhuang in Xinjiang in the west, and went down to collect scenery along the ancient Silk Road, searching, studying and thinking among the vast Gobi, ethereal murals and simple folk customs. In the summer vacation of 200 1, Hu E came to Anbeilin, the source of the Silk Road, and braved the heat to visit famous artists of all ages to seek and refine artistic inspiration. On holidays, he also went to Lanzhou Forest of Steles many times alone to copy the works of Silk Road sage Zhang Zhi, learn its shape, understand its spirit and try to figure out the true meaning of aesthetics.

No pains, no gains. After 13 years of trekking in the ink sea, with the help of his father, Xiao Hue gradually explored and summarized the "six strokes of calligraphy" which are of great significance to contemporary calligraphy: the "goose head point" that benefited from the European vertical pen-the goose head that seems to move forward; Thanks to Miffy Lu Feng's "The Boat Turned Over" ―― Like an overturned boat; Thanks to the "steel bar vertical" of Qigong vertical pen-like a standing steel bar; Thanks to the "willow leaves curl" in the preface to Lanting Collection-willow leaves that seem to meet the wind; Thanks to Wei's "lion tail"-like a dancing lion tail; Thanks to the "curved stick hook" of Webber's hook pen-it looks like a flexible curved stick. China Calligraphy and Painting Newspaper and Juvenile Calligraphy Newspaper made special presentations successively. From this, exquisite calligraphy works are created, which are mature in immaturity, ingenious in nature and full of strong sense of the times and creativity. For example, at the invitation of Daizong Painting and Calligraphy Institute in Shandong Province, he wrote the five-character regular script couplet "chinese odyssey" for "The Holy Forest of Mount Tai in China" and "Treading a Horse and Calling an Eagle" written at the beginning of Ma, which better reflected his hard exploration from layout, pen and ink to point, horizontal, vertical and hook strokes.

Xiao-he just showed his sharp corners. At the beginning of the new millennium, Xiao Hue signed up for the correspondence study of calligraphy major in the Central Academy of Fine Arts. He said: "I am still young and need to keep learning and practicing." We believe that as he grows older and matures, he will have better and more works.
