Yu Shinan's regular script is more positive and peaceful, but lacks individuality, which is not as distinctive as that of Liu Zhao and other calligraphers. So there are relatively few people who admire and learn from Yu Shinan.
But it is not without learners.
For example, Lu Zhongnan, a military calligrapher, has traces of Shinan in his regular script. Thus, Lu Zhongnan must have made great efforts in Yu Shinan's calligraphy.
