Calligraphy is an art form owned by a few languages in the world, including Chinese calligraphy, Mongolian calligraphy and * * * calligraphy. The following are the commonly used terms of calligraphy and painting appraisal compiled by me for your reference!
(1) Terms to express the characteristics of calligraphy and painting mounting:
Painting mounting: cutting character scrolls and character books into strips or pieces and mounting them as vertical frames, or changing the vertical frames into volumes, couplets and horizontal draperies.
change and mount: after the old painting heart is uncovered and mounted, it is still mounted with the original Ling Juan.
timid mounting: also known as vulgar mounting, refers to careless mounting of paintings and calligraphy.
Stumbling: The work was framed, but it was broken.
panchromatic: In the process of painting and calligraphy mounting, it is also called "adding color" to fill the faded color of the picture or the color of the hole in the painting heart.
(2) Terms to express the quality of calligraphy and painting:
Wheat yellow: The color of silk is often described as wheat yellow or dark yellow, which is the best color for silk calligraphy and painting.
keep the pulp bright:: also known as "keep the light", which is a kind of luster produced by the long-term friction between the painting heart and the backing paper.
damage: refers to the damage of the texture of calligraphy and painting due to moth-eaten, wet water or external friction. If the ground is defective, it is called "damaged" and "missing".
Bleaching: When painting and calligraphy are mounted, in order to make the texture white and clean, it is rinsed with bleaching powder. Although it looks good for a while, it often turns yellow after a while. This is called bleaching, which often hurts the ink color.
moldy: the texture of calligraphy and painting is moldy due to moisture, which is also called "frosting". According to the moldy color, there are black mold, white mold and red mold.
Shame: When painting with sparse silk backing paper, once the backing paper is removed during repair, the silk ground is like gauze, which causes the ink color of the original painting to fall off and lose its luster.
rotten: refers to the crisp texture of calligraphy and painting, which has neither toughness nor bones, and is also called "rotten".
