It is understood that the "Hometown of Calligraphy in China" series sponsored by China Federation of Literary and Art Circles and China Calligraphy Association was officially launched in 2007, and has now developed into a well-known cultural brand in China. At present, more than 60 counties (cities) in China have won this honor, among which Cangxian and Longhua in Hebei are among them. Zhengding officially began to declare the hometown of calligraphy in China last year, which lasted for one year.
It is understood that Zhengding County established the first county-level calligraphy artists association in Hebei Province on 1982. At present, 12 people in the county have joined the China Book Association, more than 50 people have joined the Provincial Book Association, and 1600 people have joined the County Book Association. In particular, the existing ancient stone inscriptions in Zhengding have laid an important historical position in Zhengding calligraphy.
