Brief introduction of Zhang Wenqing.

Zhang Wenqing, born in 1955, is a Beijinger. I like calligraphy since I was a child. I graduated from the calligraphy training class of Fengtai District Cultural Bureau 1983, and have been instructed by teachers Xu and Fu Jiabao. He studied Liu Gongquan's Mysterious Pagoda and Monument, and later learned famous posts of past dynasties, and was guided by famous predecessors such as Liu Bingsen, Qigong and Bu Xiyang. After 2006, he began to learn traditional landscape painting under the guidance of Mr. Yu Yongmao, a famous painter in China. Formed a personal style of pen and ink, calligraphy and painting. He is currently a director of China Painting and Calligraphy Association, a member of Beijing Collectors Association, a member of Beijing Chaoyang Artists Association and a first-class artist of Beijing Yanjing Painting and Calligraphy Institute. In 2006, his calligraphy work Soul of China was collected by Tiananmen National Flag Guard. Now he is the vice president and professor of Liu Yi Painting and Calligraphy Institute in Qushui, Beijing.
